This game is hands down the most challenging game I have ever played in recent memory. I have to say I absolutely highly recommend this for various reasons. Lets start off with the graphics...awesome. Movie mode is enjoyable. Action mode is lower resolution however it keep's up with the FPS way to play this game. Movie mode is supported in 4k though it does hiccup the framerate rarely during the more frenetic sections of the game though. Variable movie mode is worth a try as this mode makes the framerates coincide positively. I do highly enjoy the 3 different fighting stances. Low Medium High & how weapons behave according to whatever stance your currently in at the moment. The block & parry feature is well implemented & when used just right can quickly turn the tide of battle & allow for some glorious takedowns of enemies. Will definitely purchase the DLC.

If you want a game that's like Dark Souls, but isn't Dark Souls, look no further!

It is a hard game but you play it snuff an it gets easier.. Not to easy tho lol

After Dark Souls and Demon Souls, this is it! Thoroughly enjoyable experience

Really great game. Very challenging and rewarding gameplay. Combat is even more nuanced than Souls games while residing comfortably in the same genre. While it does take much inspiration from Souls games, it's by no mean a clone. Your character has 3 different stances which change the way each weapon is utilized and you often need to switch up your stance mid battle as your enemies adapt to your attacks. This means that to be successful you'll need to think on the fly and learn from mistakes. There are also many more tracked stats that help to level your player up as well as promoting the use of different weapons and play styles. A must own for anyone who likes a real challenge.

If you are a fan of the SOULS or Bloodborne series then this game is for you!

Very reminiscent of soulsborne games. If you enjoyed those, you'll love this.

Great game! Plays ALOT like dark souls and blood borne. Keep in my mind, if you are up for a challenge and don’t mind dying ALOT, this game is for you. If you get frustrated easily and want to turn the difficulty down, look elsewhere.

Great game if you want a challenge, it's like dark souls but harder in a way

At first, it struck me as brutal then it evened out. It has rpg like stat boosting, massive loot to be picked up after defeating humans and demons, an astounding variety of weapons to master and collect as you roam as a budding Samurai master on a quest post a Spanish war. It’s a very challenging action brawler with a semi open world design.
