Requires skill and time, nice graphics and game play not that bad

This is a great game, very fun to play, looks awsome on the ps4.

Reminds me of Bloodborne but set in an ancient Japanese setting.

This game is excellent. Great if you like the dark souls series!

A must play for any Souls fans out there. Nioh is familiar yet fresh as it takes a lot of influences from some great games and ads the Team Ninja touch on them. Tons of content and challenging for the gamer who enjoys being punished lol.

As a long fan of Dark Souls i was obviously drawn to Nioh cause it shares so much DNA with the Souls/Bloodborne games. However I find that Nioh doesn't have the secret sauce that makes those games so great. It's difficulty isn't the finely tuned experience those games are. It often feels unfair and arbitrary with its encounters. As a personal preference I'm also not a fan of the randomized loot system, some will and do of course love this and while I enjoy it in games like Diablo it's not something i'm a fan of in this type of game as I would prefer tightly designed and balanced weapons that I can plan a build around. All in all this is a very nice game that will appeal to a great many, it just doesn't appeal to me as much, as someone who has a very specific set of wants from a "souls-like". If I graded this game on its own merits without comparing it to souls then my only major complaint would be that the difficulty doesn't feel good, it feels unfair at times. But this is a game that is asking to be compared to Souls and BB, so with that in mind I would score it much lower.

This is a great souls like game with very rewarding gameplay. Loses 1 star for lack of enemy variety but very fun game!

If you enjoyed the Demon's Souls game this one will be a must buy. It has it's own gameplay style but Demon's Souls is the closest thing i can think of. If you can't handle dying a lot then this is a pass. Overall for me it was great.

This game is similar to Bloodborne gameplay style but 10 times better. With the different weapons, stance, elements and monsters youof the fight is amazing. Be prepared to die a lot. Very strategic game which makes the game well worth.

If you like the painful difficulty of dark souls, look no further. Hard as hell and definitely makes me want to scream sometimes but I love the gameplay and swordplay and it just draws me back in to come back for more pain. Not for any game player looking for an easy run through.

Godd game, remember some dark souls and a little of onimusha.

What you would expect from team ninja. Very fun game. Maybe not too much replayability but I got it for a good deal.

Nioh tells the story of a man who journeys to Japan to get back something stolen from him. He discovers a war between man and Yokai. He takes up arms when you choose one of the various starting weapons and you begin your adventure. The game plays like a faster paced Dark Souls, but is not as tough to get into. The game offers a variety of weapons,armor and item drops that are randomized which encourages replaying missions. Players can choose how they play with the roster of weapons they have before them. There is an option to play coop as well if you have an item you can go to a shrine and summon a friend or other player to help you out. So many missions, optional side quests, and challenging midnight missions for people who want to push themselves, this game comes highly recommended.

Nice blend of Dark souls, ninja Gaiden and a hint of diablo.

Great graphics, smooth gameplay, tough game. Worth the money

This game is full of cool challenges, intriguing game play and an interesting alternative history. The game can be daunting at times but it is easy to get passed that. The system is easy to manage. The game is full of excitement.

The game price was too good to pass up. It normally retails for $60, but was on sale for at least half the price.

A great game that challenges the player yet is very enjoyable. The story and the game play is fantastic and the customizable character and weapons are a nice surprise. If you are a fan of onimushia you need this game it is great
