This was a birthday gift gift for my son. He really enjoys playing it.

Excellent game. I beat it and there's still more to go. I Lso purchased the Nioh 2 because I like this one. Nioh 2 is great but not as much as this one

What a great game at a great price, I am very early in the game but I am impressed. It feels like a Ninja Gaiden crossed with new styles of other games. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for great graphics and gameplay.

Not sure how far back your gaming experience goes, but if you're familiar with the Onimusha titles for the PS2 and you enjoyed those awesome katana slashing session and magical upgrades, then I recommend this game. It's Onimusha on steroids.

Nioh is a triumph. It stands head and shoulders above every other title in the genre, even eclipsing its obvious inspiration. Team Ninja is not only back, but it has thrown down the gauntlet, and only time will tell who's up for the challenge.

If you enjoy any of From software's titles, Dark Souls, Demon Souls, Bloodborne, this game is right up your alley. It borrows from similar games in the genre and also improves on various gameplay and story telling aspects. Highly recommend.

Always like these type of games great a bit gory but good overall

Wanted to get this game for awhile and when it went on sale I got it. The game is somewhat based on history and legend so that is what drew me in. Haven't gotten far in game frome time constrates but what i've played has been worth it.

We really REALLY need another Onimusha game, but until then, this someone gives you that feel with some Dark Souls mixed in. Challenging gameplay and fantastic graphics. Picked it up for under $20, so ya can't go wrong there.

It's a great Souls style game. It's a must buy for any PS4 owner.

There is a learning curve if you've never played this type of game and if youre coming from Bloodborne. I have not yet passed since it will have you playing for hours from how often you die. Overall a great game. Hint of advice, "git gud"

If you're a fan of the souls series then this is a game for you.

I got this during the pays of play for $10.00. a friend said that is was a good game and I should get it. Still have not played it yet because still playing through a few other games.

This game is very challenging, and also very fun. It is reminiscent of the Dark Souls games and you will feel at home if you've played any of those games, however Nioh does quite enough to separate itself. It's difficult, but rewarding.

this game is comparable to dark souls in difficulty. ITS HARD. you will want to throw the controller many times but you will also jump for joy every time you defeat a boss. the game is well done, definitely a game of the year candidate

I loved the Dark Souls and Bloodborne games. I didn't think a game is gonna beat them. But Nioh just did. It combines all the best from those games plus Ninja Gaiden and some other cool stuff like twilight missions, and BOOM! My GOTY!!!

Got this for Christmas. Cant wait to play and see how it goes.

Very much enjoy this game. It's like Dark Souls/Bloodborne but more manageable. The spirit animal helps a lot when facing tough enemies. I put in 50 hours into this game and I might buy the season pass.
