If you are a fan of Fromsoft's Dark souls/bloodborne/Demon Soul's series, you will absolutely love this game, it might not have the same depth to the lore, but the combat is second to none

This game is amazing. Every time I play it, it reminds me of onimusha with a little bit of dark souls and ninja gaiden. I recommend to everyone that likes the games I just mentioned above.

surprisingly complex, great animation, full of action, even if you finish this game in a week, you'll have a lot of replay value, find new paths, new ways of destroying your enemies, have different armors, different outcomes. highly recommend it.

If you liked Dark Souls you will love this game! Same style, but you're a Samurai or Ninja in Japan! The fight mechanics are complex at first but are super amazing.

This game is by far one of the most surprising games ive played in years. The combat is just as difficult if not more than dark souls and the story is actually much more easier to follow

Nioh presents an amazing portrayal of what its like to mix Dark Souls with a Japanese motif. Its tough as nails gameplay mechanics make for a satisfyingly difficult journey.

I really liked the gameplay of Nioh. It is one of the best battling systems in a game that I have played,\; it is really enjoyable. I would recommend this game to a friend.

This game has a challenging but satisfying combat system. All though aged, it is still pretty up to par graphically. Story is ok but combat makes up for its short comings.

Great take on Bloodborne (maybe Dark Souls III) just because it is too fast past in retrospect to DS and DSII but nonetheless an awesome difficult game that test your limits as a gamer.

If you've played the Dark Souls series before then you'll love this game for sure. It sets itself apart from the souls games well enough while being familiar enough to pick up quickly.

This is a beautiful game, which plays great on my PS4 Pro. The game is very challenging and will test your skills. Similar in some ways to the Dark Souls games. Recommended!

I'm one mission into the game, and it's fantastic. Souls-esque gameplay, but with loot, but with Onimusha's atmosphere of Japanese mythological horror. I'm excited to see where it goes.

For those who love the samurai fighting style, this game is definitely a good game at that. Controls are intuitive and easy to navigate once you master the attack and defensive mechanics, highly addictive and enjoy every minute of it.

Bought this for my friend and it's so fun just to watch him play it. I wouldn't choose to play through it since it is so difficult, that's not a bad quality for a game to have though!

Great fun and a good challenge. Combat is fluid, enemies are challenging, and there is a surprisingly deep weapon and armor customization system. Great addition to this genre of games.

This game is awesome. It has a great atmosphere and a very deep combat system. However, it is also quite a challenging game, along the veins of Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

If you love Dark Souls, you'll love Nioh. Deep character customization with a story line set in feudal Japan. Difficulty level is high, but manageable when playing online.

for any fans of the dark souls series this is a must buy! punishing but rewarding gameplay, in many ways, it is the superior game. strongly recommended!

As many have said, this is very similar to the Dark Souls games. Honestly though, I wasn't a fan of Dark Souls but the combat and setting of this game had me hooked from the get go.

Can't wait to have some time to enjoy this game. Heard some good things about it
