First I put the BQi-C3 Pro eBike together following the online tutorial video from Niu which was a lot more helpful than the manual. I highly suggest watching that once or twice before you do this. In the box it comes with all the tools you need to assemble. Then after it was all assembled I went though and made all necessary adjustments, seat height, handlebar height, etc. I appreciate the handle bar and seat adjustments. I took advantage of those. Once that was all done I filled the tires with air as they were both really low. Then came the fixing. I noticed the front disk brake was rubbing so I made some adjustments to that. Then I noticed the fenders were not centered. I played around with those for a bit to try and get them as straight as I could. Once it was ready to ride I put it on the charger overnight. The bike looks pretty slick once assembled. I got the glossy grey model which has black fenders with red batteries. Kind of has a modern look for a bike and I like the color combination they used. It has an aluminum frame and its a step through bike so no top bar to step over. One of the more interesting things about this specific bike is instead of a metal chain this bike uses a Gates carbon belt. With that said it should last longer and doesn't require any maintenance. It also requires no grease. But on the other end that means it only has one gear. The belt looks and feels very durable and I don't feel bad about riding in wet conditions. This is a class 3 ebike so it can go up to 28 mph. Although I typically ride it on class 2 with pedal assist. The controls allow you to change this on the fly which is pretty cool. So far my top speed is 26 mph in class 3. I haven't been able to hit the 28 "yet". Maybe on a steep hill. When you get close to the max speed you start spinning out on the pedals because again it has one gear so you basically have to stop pedaling and coast until you slow down a bit. It has no problems getting up hills or reaching those faster speeds though. It also has a thumb throttle. Nice option if you are tired or just don't want to pedal. Makes getting around effortless. The brakes are standard bike disk brakes. They seem to work ok. Because the bike is around 70lbs it doesn't stop on a dime but they work. The removable batteries are a awesome touch. They are easy to take out and put back in. You can charge the batteries in the bike or outside the bike and you can do both batteries at the same time! The charger comes with a adapter to do so. Niu says it can get a max range of 90 mile but I'm thinking with a typical adult it might be closer to 40 - 60? The bike tries to estimate this. I haven't been able to drain both batteries yet but time will tell. Love the LCD screen. Its bright and has a lot of info on display. Shows speed, what class you are in, battery stats, max speed, and so on. All the info you would want or need on a ebike. The halo headlight is bright and you can adjust the aim as well if needed. Also has a brake light for safety. The tires pretty plain but seem ok for street cruising. I know nothing of the brand they used here but it says they are puncture resistant with Kevlar so if thats true its a nice added touch. Some of the issues I see. I know this isn't a mountain bike but this bike is begging for a front suspension fork. Its not bad if you are on pavement but once you get off road it can get bumpy. Its also a bit on the heavy side for a ebike due to all the batteries but I guess it makes up for that in range. What I'm getting at is you wouldn't want to have to manually pedal this up a hill on a dead battery. The fenders are also pretty flimsy and I cannot get them straight with the tire no matter what I do. Even the one that came pre-installed on the back tire. Below is a list of pros and cons based on my usage. Pros: looks great dual removable batteries dual charger LCD screen with easy to use controls uses a Gates carbon belt rear rack puncture resistant tires lots of range 3 speed classes fun to ride Cons: no suspension crooked fenders heavy Overall its a nice urban commuter. You can cruse around town all day with minimal effort. If you want a easy to ride, low maintenance ebike that has a lot of range, this will work great for you.

Great bike lots of fun. It has a lot of range and for the price it’s a great deal. The replaceable batteries make it easier to have multiples to increase range.

Great bike over 100 miles so far so good. Assembly was easy with videos online. Took some time to adjust brakes. Overall happy with purchase.

Very good, and comfortable electric bike. It was easy to assemble, and it is easy to operate

The bike was difficult to out together. Recently the electrical bike suddenly stopped working. I have the Best Buy Membership but have been given the run around to repair. Best Buy told me I have to go through the manufacturer and send the bike back to then which has been a nightmare and time consuming. Best Buy does not stand behind the product and the manufacturer makes it very difficult to utilize the warranty. We cannot locate a local bike shop to repair the bike because apparently the parts are not available for sale. I would not recommend any of the NIU products. Further, don't think you will receive assistance from Best Buy through the Best Buy Membership.

I love this bike. It does reach 28mph if you pedal with the bike. The battery lasts for a long period of time. The charging was really easy.

This bike is amazing! It has many safety features to keep your commute a good one. It does go fast, so be careful whdn riding on a sidewalk.

Called the company and they wanted me to send in the bike at my expense i never even rode it so i returned it. Brakes were broken from the start and it was all scuffed. Im sure the bike is of good quality but the lack of customer service makes me worried about long term support
