I want to start off by saying the scooter itself is amazing. It's a sturdy frame, rides great and the DRL helps drivers near me see me as I zip around my local University. However, as of January 2024, the NIU app is asking for proof of purchase and asking for very sensitive and identifiable information. I am not one to really care as what app doesn't have your info in this day in age but what it was asking for was too much. Again, the scooter itself is great and I plan on using for years to come but the app is a big no-no. Its unfortunate because the app does have a great amount of features.

This product is excellent, a little bit of work at the beginning to set everything up due to the app process but after you set everything up. The product is very nice.

The overall product is very good, but sometimes it suddenly jerks and stops. Got an exchange from best buy. Let’s see how this works. I definitely recommend to someone who is looking for in this budget.

Its a good scooter it doesn't go as fast as the KQi3 I know its only a 3MPH difference, but you can notice it since I have both scooters but this is good for a kid or a teenager.

Great for getting around a college campus, no problems.

This thing is HEAVY!!!!!! if you live in an appt on the second or third floor. DO NOT GET THIS. unless you have the back and muscles for it. It’s better for home living or lower level places. It’s super hard to carry up 3 flights of steps. Super upset about this. I can’t even enjoy it because it’s such a task to bring up and down the stairs. I don’t even want to ride it at that point. :(. So upset. It’s super nice but the heavy part messes up the vibe.

It’s an attractive and functional scooter. It only goes 10 mph as opposed to 17 mph advertised, which about half of max speed. Disappointing!

Scooter has been amazing to ride around town. When I need to run errands it makes it easier to navigate LA and can get to locations faster then it would be to drive.
