Purchased for travel purposes. Easily downloaded onto 6 devices. Set-up was super easy. Connection is quick on all devices. Had to change devices mid-trip when one device failed, and quickly removed and added to new device.

After reading some reviews on this product I wanted to see what it was all about. At first I thought it was something like Norton Antivirus but upon receiving it and going over everything realized it's much more about keeping your internet activity and private information secure. As stated on the box to a "military grade level" It was very easy to install, no disc or anything as shown in the picture . Just simply go to the web address and begin the download. I will update this after using the product for a decent period of time.

With the exception of video streaming Nordvpn does have a impact on my ability to use the internet while web browsing. Setup is actually really easy and fast. I downloaded it on my main pc and my android phone. Used both for a while to get a feel for them. Pros Very easy to set up and get running. Does not impact most internet speed Gives you a meter on your phone for stats on how much data is being transfered ( a geek thing) Even with using it to stream 4k it buffers in the beginning but eventually stream watch a movie to see any adverse effects on content I could find non. One major thing is my setup used codes not any disk or USB type installation.

I really like this VPN compared to my last one. Speed and reliability is bar none the best yet out of the 5 total I have tried in the past 2 years. Windows install is a breeze the ability to turn it on and off so quickly makes the ease of use smooth. Using it on an Android phone is simple and effective. I can easily turn it on, switch servers and even block adds on my android now. I also setup my router to have it built in, this is nice to know all devices are covered within the house. I am finally at home with a VPN, I will be a Nord customer for life.

I've been using WiTopia for the past 5 years, and decided to give NORD VPN a try when it went on sale. So far it's been easy to setup and use, and I would definitely recommend it. The options are plentiful, and the speed hasn't been disappointing.

Installed the NordVPN with no issues. Very easy to configure and maneuver. Easiest installation of any program ever. Easily able to change your IP information and country if necessary. Only a few notable issues, but not dealbreakers: 1) It does slow your internet speed. Not a lot, but you notice the difference. 2) Unable to reach certain sites with the VPN on. More of a personal choice of mine than anything else.

Just received my 1-year subscription to NordVPN in the mail. Following the instructions in the packaging, I quickly downloaded the software and installed it on my Windows laptop and my iPhone X. So far so good. Will probably install it on my MacBook Air as well. Haven't run into any issues so far. Setup was very simple, unlike other VPN services I've tried out in the past. I recommend this VPN software to anyone looking for a great VPN with easy setup. Creating an account and setting up the software was simple and I was up and running in 5 minutes. It does only allow setup up on 6 devices ranging from Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

I had been wanting to get setup on a VPN, as I have read that people should have this extra level of security on their network. The initial account setup was a breeze. I had no issues in downloading and installing the software. However, once I logged in, I immediately lost my internet connection. I didn't know why. There was no tutorial, and no error messages. I turned off the VPN and still couldn't get connected. I ended up rebooting my computer to connect again. I tried to look at their support page, but it looks like I have to educate myself further before setting this up. For now, I am not using the VPN until I become more familiar with it.

Over 3,000 _ servers to use.... super easy to install. Works seamlessly on multiple devices. I was new to VPN's but have learned so much recently. I would not connect to a public wifi without one now. Primarily use this with my iPhone 8. Love it. Connects in seconds and I feel safer and more secure with my internet use on my phone now. the interface may seem simple for some, but you do not need it to be complicated. I like how quick I was up and running.

I bought the downloadable one-year subscription for Nord VPN directly from Best Buy. The download and install were flawless and Nord's interface is simple and intuitive. I have not experienced a notable decrease in speed while using the internet. The subscription covers connecting up to six devices, so I have it on my desktop, tablet and phone. No one should use the internet without a VPN and although the are so many VPN's to choose from, I can't imagine one that works better, especially for the price.

Ive installed this software on two MacBooks, one Windows laptop and one iPhone and surprisingly, I haven't noticed any reduction in performance or speeds for my devices. That was my main concern with installing a VPN, particularly on my phone. Installation was simple and easy on each device and it can be installed on a total of six devices. I have been traveling a lot lately, so having a VPN when I connect to open wifi networks, gives me a greater sense of security. So far so good.

    Best VPN Service Around

I have been using NORDVPN for the last year and I can say it is the best VPN out there. The first thing I like about it is that it is easy to install on computers and phones. You basically create your account, download the app for your device, log in and connect to your favorite server around the globe. Other things I like are the fast connection speeds, and the fact that you can connect five devices. If you travel a lot or travel overseas, this is the VPN to get.

This 1 year subscription in a box for NordVPN was super easy to setup, and is now running seamlessly on my desktop computer, notebook computer, and mobile phone. This product comes in a cardboard box, but the only thing inside is a card with a printed activation code and website address. You'll use that to set up your account, which is super easy. Just go to the website, enter your email address, select a password, and type in the code. That's it. I had an account with a year of service within 2 minutes of opening the box. Next step is to download the NordVPN client, login with the email address and password used during account setup, and turn on the VPN service. The NordVPN client is available for Mac, Windows, Android, and iOS. I tried it on three of those four platforms, and found the same straightforward look and feel on all three. The interface is intuitive, and makes it easy to tell whether you're connected to the service. If you don't need to mess with the advanced features, there's the option to quickly connect. For those with more complicated needs, there are a variety of options, like choosing servers based on where they're located (appear to the Internet as if you're coming from a specific country), what special connections they offer (like Peer to Peer file sharing or Onion Over VPN). There's also a double-VPN option, where your network traffic is routed through multiple servers to make it even harder to be tracked. There's also a Chrome extension, which I was able to use on my Chromebook, but only web browsing was protected. NordVPN supports L2TP/IPSec, however, which allowed me to protect all traffic from my Chromebook. It was a few more steps to set up (there's a tutorial on the NordVPN website), and it's not as secure as using the NordVPN app, but is a lot better than no protection at all. Any VPN service is going to cause some reduction in speed. I found that NordVPN had moderate slowdowns... around 25% slower than without using the VPN, which is similar to other paid VPN services I've used (and better than most free VPN services). Overall, I feel like NordVPN offers high quality VPN protection at a reasonable price. The client software is simple and easy to use for a novice, while anyone who needs the more advanced features can find them in the settings menus. Overall, I'm happy with the product and would recommend it to others.

It's the easiest VPN set up you can have that covers a wide range of devices. Norton has made the VPN process 1 click on any device you decide to install it on. I currently have it running along AD Guard on my Android device have not had any issues. Occasionally I've had some Apps for some reason would not connect to the internet. A simple restart of the VPN does the trick. Overall it's a good value since the subscription allows up to a combination of 6 devices.

I must confess, I had never heard of this company until Best Buy sent me an invitation to review this product. Well, the product made its presence known quickly after I downloaded the app from the Google Play store, set up an account, and thereafter, I was good to go! This product offers robust protection. I am especially grateful that it covers cell phones, because I pay several of my bills directly from my cell phone. Since installing this program, I feel secure knowing that hackers won't get sensitive information that belongs to me! Great job NordVPN!!!

The software is easy to install and easy to use. It will also protect several other devices and the one that seemed most important was the cell phone as I do a lot of payments and web browsing. The speed will slow down some but I expect thats because of the security code and being connected to different servers. You can even pick which area you would like to connect to or it will do it automatically. As far as security i'm assuming it has been working as I have not had any issues with my identity or account info being leaked. I definitely recommend it to those that do sensitive transactions with your cell phone and laptop/tablet.

These days, securing your online activity against anyone who might be interested in exploiting it has become an increasingly difficult task. VPNs have long been recognized as one of the more effective ways of doing this, as when used correctly they can provide nearly completely anonymous browsing, but finding a good one is a lot harder than you might think. Some keep their own logs of user activity, which can end up being sold off to the exact same people you're trying to avoid having that data. Others can suffer from unreliable or highly congested connections thanks to not having enough servers to meet demand. And some are fine, but require too much technical knowledge for a layman to use properly. NordVPN, through use of sometimes gratuitous technical overkill and a surprisingly straightforward interface, seems very well protected against all three of these concerns. The box advertises that setting it up is as simple as creating an account and flipping a switch on an app, and they aren't lying. And yet it still provides a wealth of advanced tools for the more technically inclined to set up the precise VPN setup they need for specific applications. And it does all of this without maintaining any logs whatsoever of your activity. There are a few hurdles to overcome when using it, mostly related to the fact that it's somewhat overzealous by design when it comes to security. Any website or service which checks against the physical location of the servers making login requests as a security precaution is likely to flag your activity as suspicious when you login through the VPN, and unless you take steps to make sure that you're always using the same proxy it's likely that you'll get these repeatedly since it tends to rotate you around whatever country you happen to be in. It'll also try its best to block anything which it thinks might be trying to redirect you somewhere it shouldn't, and it does throw up a fair amount of false positives which can shutdown even major sites. And while it does its best to minimize the increased lag time inherent with any kind of proxy routing, it's really not hard to notice the loss in performance you get with the VPN turned on. I certainly wouldn't advise using it for much 4K streaming, particularly if your goal is to stream content from another country. That said, these are problems you're going to have with any VPN service worth having. And if you've already decided that you need a VPN to provide yourself with some added security, having one this overzealous is probably a feature. The only real downside I can name is that it provides so many options that it's very hard to imagine anyone making regular use of all of them, so you're probably going to be paying more for extras you don't need. But speaking for myself, if I'm going to be using a VPN for anything I want it to be one that I could use for everything. And NordVPN is by far the most impressively comprehensive consumer grade option for that I've seen thus far.
