It is hard to know ahead of purchasing (especially online!) that Norton has a paywall requiring you to provide your credit card information to keep on file before you can download what you've purchased. The whole point of having antivirus software is to minimize exposure/risk to security breaches and here's Norton actively exposing you to more of them. Best Buy themselves were incredibly unhelpful and even though they could tell the software hadn't been downloaded, they wouldn't deal with a refund and tried to make it Norton's problem (for which they also made it my job to go contact Norton, giving me incorrect information to begin with). Everything about this situation was unpleasant and shows that Best Buy doesn't care about its customers. Nobody in either company's customer service speaks English well enough to be of assistance to an English speaker and I couldn't get either one of them to hand me off to a manager to attempt to resolve either. Honestly, one of the worst customer service experiences of my life.

The only issue is that it keeps advertising add-ons, and the popups can get annoying. You will also be charged the renewal fee around 1 month BEFORE your subscription expires, so be careful!

I am verse in downloading from Norton but going through Best Buy was problematic, won’t do it again. Next it’s download from Norton directly.
