However, it did not work on my new Macbook Pro. The software’s VPN blocked internet access to my new Macbook Pro and I had to contact Apple Support to get the software removed and resume internet access. It took some work to get this software completely removed. Beware of the VPN before installing on Apple products

I was able to cancel the auto renewal function by logging into the account after download, but Norton also removes some of the security features as a penalty. The package does clearly state the requirement, as full disclosure.

Did not want to take the chance of forgetting to cancel subscription.

You CANNOT turn it off. Good luck trying to remove your payment info also. How can one trust a company to protect us from viruses when they lie to us?
