Truly 360 PC, Phone, SMS, Email, Privacy and more

I have mostly become skeptical of antivirus software, the basic inbuilt protection on Windows and Mac was 'enough'. But now it's more than viruses you need to worry about. SMS scams, emails, data breaches, retailers being hacked - the world is just more complicated. Norton 360 is the only thing that is an out-of-the-box solution for everything you need. - antivirus - lifelock identify theft protection - email scam protection - privacy monitor - VPN - cloud backup - password manager - parental controls (probably the only fearture I don't need) Antitracking isn't included, it's a pricy upsell. Which is a shame and really should be included given all the othe privacy features, like the privacy monitor. Norton utilities is not included, but there's a free 60 day trial available and upgrade. Setup is easy. You do have to setup a Norton account. Norton doesn't prompt you to setup Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) during setup, but you really should do it given you're connecting accounts and sharing so much personal data. Installation was easy, no registration keys in the app, it just auto installs. Nice. It was also not heavy on my OS, running this on Windows 11 and it didn't add lag or impact performance. So much improved on older versions of Norton. What I really love about Norton 360 is that it also now has a web console you can login to from any device. So if you need to check security settings for a family member (I installed a copy on my elderly parents PC) I can check they haven't disabled it. Cool. What's great - super easy setup, like fast and incredibly easy - everything you need if you're getting started in online security - lightweight, easy to install and manage - very friendly user interface - great solution for the less technical members of your family - great web console to manage all the other features (lifelock, privacy, etc) What could be better - should require MFA during setup by default, make sure you do - the online backup is not generous, 100Gb when my phone has more storage! - wish it came with 2 Lifelock licenses or easy way to add more - antitracking really should be included - the 'upsells' other features almost caught me, but easy to ignore Overall, I think Norton 360 is great. If you're a hardcore tech geek, you probably feel you don't need it or have preferred specialist programs just for one feature. But as a turnkey all in one solution, Norton 360 is very thorough. If they upgraded the amount of data in cloud backup and added an extra Lifelock license (one for you, one for your partner) it would be perfect.

What's great: -Easy sign up process for LifeLock and seamless access to Norton360 Software -Powerful dark web search/monitoring -Insights that give you actionable things to fix or monitor -Easy access to services to lock your credit and identity down in one place -Doesn't slow down your device What could be better: -Allow the VPN to work on more devices -Wish it had more protection against ads and tracking I think the one thing I like best about this suite of services is the dark web monitoring. My best advice is, don't wait until you've had your identity compromised to act, be proactive about it and I can say Norton's LifeLock definitely does that. It wasn't until I set this up that I realized my information was part of a data breach (along with millions of others of course the Public Data Breach that occured in 2024), and not only did it make me aware of it, I could see what was compromised in the breach. If you think your SSN isn't out there, I'd say think again, and Norton LifeLock alerted me to that and helped me lock down my identity to prevent fraud and I feel confident if something were to happen the protection this offers will help. While it is a pain to unlock reports, it's totally worth the minor inconvenience that causes vs. the potential for fraud using your identity. As for Norton360 the software is great, unobtrusive and works quietly in the background keeping your devices (and your information) secure/protected. I used to be one of those that say Windows Defender is good enough, and while it is good and better than having nothing, having a good security software package like Norton360 is becoming essential if you do anything online. It's not just about Virus's anymore, it's about a full suite of services to protect your device, and your identity and Norton does that pretty good. There are some things I wish could be better, like the ability to use the VPN on more devices and have ad/tracking protection like other VPNs like Proton VPN do, and there are good browsers that do this. So I think that's the one area Norton could take this next level and really offer a comprehensive suite of privacy protection tools. This package offers a great value of services and as such I'd recommend it. The identity projection and monitoring is good and blended with the software it is overall pretty good.

Thank you for sharing such a comprehensive and insightful review! You’ve done a great job explaining why Norton 360 Deluxe with LifeLock Select stands out—not just for antivirus protection, but for its identity security features like dark web monitoring and credit lock services. Your advice about being proactive rather than waiting for identity theft to happen is spot-on and will resonate with many readers.
I also appreciate your honest feedback on areas for improvement, such as expanding VPN coverage and adding stronger ad/tracking protection. Those are excellent suggestions that could make the suite even more robust.
Your personal experience with discovering your information in a data breach really underscores the importance of these tools. It’s reassuring to know that LifeLock helped you take action and lock down your identity. Combined with Norton’s unobtrusive device protection, this package truly offers a well-rounded security solution.
Thanks for taking the time to share such a detailed review—it’s incredibly helpful for anyone considering comprehensive protection for both devices and personal information! norton_us

    Solid performance, constant upsell

I want to start by saying that I really do appreciate the features offered by this product. It does seem like a solid bang for the buck. However, I really dislike anytime a product feels like a perpetual upsell. Pros: VPN - While this is my first time using any personal VPN product, I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. I see no noticeable decrease in performance and the features within the VPN are great. Multiple devices - I think that, for the price, it is nice to be able to cover a number of devices - especially with parental control. ID theft/ deep web scan - Having a deep web scan on my information was great to suggest which passwords might be compromised. I am not sure if I will renew or not, but at least the one time check was nice. Cons: Upsell/ Autorenew - If you buy this product I recommend being very well versed in the features included. While exploring all the features in the apps I have been met with several instances of unexpected upsells. Run a scan for your personal information to see all the data brokers that have it? Great! Want to get it removed? Well you have to create accounts on each of the individual brokers sites and request it...OR we can do it all for you for an additional fee. Scan your computer for threats? Great. Would you like to fix these performance issues? Yes? OK here's the fee. All of this is fine, but presented in a shady way that doesn't reveal the upsell until the very end. Icky feeling. Autorenewing subscriptions give me the same feeling. Ultimately I do think this is a quality product and performs as advertised. Just keep your guard up and pay attention or you can easily run up additional charges.

    Great Anti-Virus

I have always enjoyed using Norton 360. I still enjoy using Norton, but I am not a fan of doing a scan and then Norton telling me that they can improve my computers performance, but I have to pay for additional software from Norton. I would love to just scan my computer and fix viruses. That said, I like having a second software outside my Microsoft. It is nice to do a scan with Norton as well to see if a virus might have gotten on my computer. I also enjoy that Norton allows me to sign into it, and then when I get onto websites, it auto inputs my passwords. I know now a days sites just save it for you. But when I get a new laptop or desktop, first thing I do is install Norton, and then when I go to a website, I do not have to input my info on that site, Norton does. My biggest gripe though is that Norton is a subscription base now. I wish they had an option to just do a one-time purchase and have their antivirus. I have the one for 5 devices. Right now, I just use this with my desktop, my son's desktop (he is 18 so I do not monitor) and 3 laptops. If you are like me, and looking for that extra protection, Norton has been around a while now and has done a great job as far as I can tell, keeping me safe. My other complaint, and my biggest gripe with antivirus software, regardless of who it is from, is that they always seem to conflict with each other. I wish they would just make it easier to be able to run multiple antivirus software.

Norton is still a great suite!

Before I say anything else - I would use anything Norton or Symantec branded over anything McAfee any day of the week. I've been running this suite in a singular gaming laptop for a week or so now just to get a feel for it. Running various benchmarks with the Auto-protect enabled and disabled to see what kind of performance impact the suite would have on everyday operations, I can say the results were mixed. In some tests there was not much (if any variation) in the results, others there was upwards of 33% performance hit by leaving the auto-protect enabled. That having been said, in everyday use (productivity, web surfing) I honestly couldn't feel any difference in speeds regardless whether the protection was enabled/not enabled. On top of the antivirus/antimalware component, it includes LifeLock. Not a fault of the application - I simply couldn't bring myself to use it. Yes, it's designed to help you lock down your digital footprint on the web and help keep your data from being sold as well as help you secure your credit. My personal paranoia could not allow me to use LifeLock as I didn't want to give yet another company my personal information , ultimately introducing one other "point of failure" to potentially leak or get hacked allowing my info to make it out onto the web even more than it already is. I honestly feel this is a 5 star application suite - it's my personal reservations and paranoia that kept me from testing all the features. Norton - you still have my thumbs up over the competition!

Thank you for sharing such a detailed and honest review! Your perspective on performance testing is really helpful for others who might be concerned about the impact of security software on gaming or high-performance tasks. It’s great to hear that everyday use felt smooth and unaffected, even with Auto-Protect enabled.
We completely understand your caution regarding LifeLock—privacy is personal, and your reasoning makes sense. The fact that you still rate Norton 360 Deluxe as a 5-star suite speaks volumes about its core protection and reliability. Your trust in Norton over the competition is something we truly appreciate, and your feedback will help others make informed decisions.

Norton has greatly improved upon the layout and ease of use of their product. The installation process is well explained, and setup and configuration are fully guided. The new layout is clean and easy to understand. LifeLock is easy to setup with simply answering a guide through several questions. I feel my digital identity is fully protected with the protect and it has the advanced configuration for experienced IT professionals and simple enough for anyone has little computer knowledge. Initial scans are simple to execute and complete quickly. I have noticed no impact top performance on two laptops it has been installed. The only thing that keeps from giving it five stars, is the cost to have access to all of Norton's products and services. When you complete a scan, you are given suggestions for clean-up. After nearly ever scan, you are prompted to add another add-in services such as Anti-Spam or Norton Utilities. If you added all the available subscription services, it would cost you around $500 per year. I do feel that there is value added with all their services and offer a higher degree of security. However, their basic services are sufficient, and I would like to not get so many notifications to upgrade. Especially when it puts a red action on the middle screen for a service you do not own or wish to use. Overall, Norton is one of the best Internet Security services available and will fully protect your digital world. Keep in mind that to full utilize everything in their suites can be very expensive.

Setup was a little challenging at first. Upon my second attempt, I was able to get it successfully installed. It did take some time to work through the install, but the interface was easy to use. Once installed, I was relieved to see that it did not regularly prompt me to run scans as some other similar products do. The software seems to run in the background and doesn't interfere with the speed of my laptop. So far nothing has been found to reinforce the value of the program. A scan did recommend the removal of temporary files, which I have done, however, I have not noticed any significant improvement as a result. The software does offer a Password Manager feature which comes in handy these days with so many cybersecurity requirements to protect passwords. I also like that the program provides coverage for multiple devices. I'm apprehensive to try antivirus software on mobile devices based on previous experiences, however, I am excited to give Norton a shot based on my limited experience thus far. In today's world, I would love to have the reassurance that more of my devices are better protected and it seems that Norton might just be the right choice.

As someone who uses a windows laptop, a macbook, an iPhone, and an android tablet, I wanted one security solution that could protect everything without needing different apps or subscriptions. Norton works smoothly across 3 of my devices and is limited on one. On my laptops, the full suite provides real-time protection, firewall controls, and frequent scans without slowing things down too much. On my iPhone, Norton focuses more on web protection. On my android tablet, it feels more like the desktop version. The interface is clean and consistent across platforms, which makes switching between devices painless. The built-in VPN has been surprisingly good. It connects quickly, works on all four devices. Currently have another dedicated VPN service that is more robust and I am not willing to forgo due to streaming needs but the Norton VPN is a good choice as a baseline VPN. The password manager is simple but reliable, and the dark web monitoring adds peace of mind by alerting me if any of my personal info shows up in a breach. Norton 360 Deluxe has been worth it for the convenience alone. Instead of piecing together separate security tools, I get full protection on most of my devices with one subscription. Norton doesn’t slow down things too much, and does exactly what it promises. If you’re managing a mix of Windows, Apple, and android devices, this is a simple complete and user friendly option.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed and practical review! Your experience really highlights one of the biggest advantages of Norton 360 Deluxe—the ability to protect multiple devices across different platforms with a single subscription. It’s great to hear that the interface feels consistent and user-friendly, making it easy to manage security whether you’re on Windows, macOS, iOS, or Android.
Your comments about the built-in VPN and password manager are very helpful for others considering this product. Even if you use a dedicated VPN for streaming, it’s good to know Norton’s VPN works well as a baseline option. The dark web monitoring feature is another strong point—it adds peace of mind by alerting you to potential breaches.
Overall, your review makes it clear that Norton 360 Deluxe is a convenient, comprehensive solution for anyone juggling multiple devices. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience—it’s extremely valuable for others looking for a cross-platform security package! norton_us

I picked up Norton 360 Deluxe + LifeLock Select because I wanted one go-to solution to protect multiple devices and give myself some extra security online and so far it’s done what I hoped. It was pretty easy to install, covers up to 5 devices and immediately kicked in to guard against malware, phishing, and other nasties that wander around the internet. What’s nice is that it doesn’t just guard the usual things. The package includes a VPN so browsing on public Wi-Fi doesn’t always have to feel sketchy, and there’s a password manager that helps keep things locked down without me having to remember dozens of passwords. The dark web monitoring and identity-protection features add a layer of protection I appreciate. I feel less anxious about identity theft or someone messing with my credit info, especially with how often data leaks happen nowadays. If you have kids or share devices at home, the parental controls make it easier to set ground rules and avoid accidental clicks or risks online. On top of that, having a secure cloud backup helps in case something weird happens to a device. I feel safer online, I don’t have to micromanage every little setting, and I like that I’m covered across all devices I or my family use.

In the past I've not been a fan of products from Norton but I have been recently been reminded by a friend it's been over a decade since I used any of their products so I figured I would give them a shot one more time. Best decision I've made in a while! One of the things that drove me crazy in the past about Norton products was the fact they were resource hogs. I've not experienced that this time, I've installed it on both my of my Windows laptops (regular Intel x86 and a Snapdragon) and I've not noticed any performance hits at all. Weekly scans are done unobtrusively and work. I've also installed it on my iPhone 15 Plus and it seems to be running like a champ. The built in VPN works better than the one I had been using and I have no complaints about it. The LifeLock part I set up on a lark and right away it found some of my information on the Dark Web from a few years ago so I was able to and lock down some stuff. Overall I've been impressed with this product and I'm glad I decided to go back and give Norton another chance.

PC protection, performance diagnostics, offline world protection all in one place seems like a dream come true. Like so many others, this dream is dashed by extra fees for products outside the scope of the basic subscription. The basic subscription includes LifeLock, which will protect against threats in real world from threats in cyberspace. It includes credit monitoring and the ability to find out if your information is on file with various data brokers. Then the extra fees hit: If you want Norton to actually remove your information from brokers, you have to pay extra (100% of the original subscription). If you want to improve your PC performance, you have to pay again. It’s a fact that insurance costs money. Norton offers a lot of insurance with this bundle. The price on the box is misleading and that’s not the right approach for a company trying to earn your trust. In addition, the bundle includes PC optimization tools. Here again, the tools are fairly basic and may require extra fees. The included VPN has decent speeds, but won't let you select a specific city for an out of town broadcast. There's an option to scan for software updates, but it's limited to only a few programs. There's an option to clean the PC registry, but there's an extra charge for what other tools provide for free. I’ve been loving Tulsa King. Norton was apparently inspired by it when opening this phase of their business model. It's quite the racket!

Norton offers top of the line protection. It does keep your system protected, of course there is a bit of common sense required. I do despise Norton "upselling" tactics that are always presenting you with additional features and benefits of a higher priced packages. It does not matter if you opt for the comprehensive suite like Norton 360, since it will keep upselling other features even when using dishonest data. I have Norton 360, which includes, but still I get bombarded with fear-based messaging of the dangers of cyber threats or outdated drivers. These features required that I a higher-tier plan at a at a higher price point. I started looking at the fear-based messaged about my computer "expired drivers". On this instance Norton suggest that I upgrade to a higher-priced plan that includes drivers updates and it shows a list of expired drivers. When I visited the Device Manager, my drivers where up to date and were the same updated version Norton was showing as the updated version available. I think Norton should avoid using aggressive and manipulative tactics to pressure its own paying customers into purchasing a higher-priced plan or extra features.
