Posted .Hi HMB - Thanks for your review and very sorry for your confusion, but this is *absolutely* a 1-year subscription that thousands of BBY customers take advantage of monthly. The scan you’re seeing is an initial scan of Windows telling you about ‘performance enhancements’ that can *optionally* be addressed with an add-on product (Norton Utilities Ultimate). It is NOT required at all, and all the virus/security/antiscam features you purchased are operating with the N360 license. I apologize for the confusion of the NUU scan - we’re working to clear up this language as it is confusing to others like yourself. Hope this helps and you reconsider your review? Cheers! - DWN

As though anything actually can be done about that.

I have never had any issues with the software or Virus's or Malware during that time.
