    This has geo lock and cannot use devices outside of us.

      Hi Venkat - thanks for your comment. Although this product can’t be activated outside the US - which it says in the Best Buy description (to prevent black-market sales) - you can use a VPN with a U.S. IP address to activate it, and once activated our software will work worldwide.     Would have rated zero stars but couldn't find an option for that. This product is useless, I was never able to activate the product and Best Buy customer support was unable to assist and unwilling to refund the purchase price.

    This version provides you with Security for up to 10 devices. I use it on my laptop, phone, tablet as well as my wifes computer, laptop, phone and tablet. I works well across all of our devices.

    Best buy customers get less customer service

    I purchased Norton 360 Premium at Best Buy. I suspected I had a root kit installed on my computer, so I called Norton support hotline. They had me run the Norton power eraser, and It found two items to remove. I discovered that Norton products purchased from retail stores like Best Buy do not come with advanced virus removal support. In order to receive advanced virus removal assistance, the product must be purchased from Norton's official web site. On the rear of the box the 100% guarantee is listed in the Yellow panel the upper left. If you still have a virus on your computer after running Norton power eraser,, and you have purchased from Best Buy, you must remove the virus by yourself. I was hoping that Norton work give Best buy customers the same service level.

    Keeps marketing their other products

    Norton continues spamming you with offers for all their other services. It's annoying and you don't need all the other services. Every time you run a scan you'll get prompted for their other products and you'll randomly get pop-up ads for their other products.

    Norton is exceptional at marketing. My email and notifications on my computer are flooded with ads from Norton trying to get me to upgrade and upselling ads. When I do want to use the utility is has become very busy, hard to find stuff, and hard to use simply as an anti- virus tool. It is a mess. MORE - you cannot de-select auto- renewal. This is my pet peeve! What I find MOST interesting is that because I delete all their ads, guess where the auto renewal goes? YEP! Spam. The subscription auto renews 90 days before expiration. They have a great sales pitch for this - however, the fact is the cancellation window - if you do not want to renew- is 60 days. SO - if you thought your renewal was in July, they charge the credit card in March. If you were to call in July to cancel- or not renew- it is past the 60 day window allowed for canceling and for refunds. BE CAREFUL! You may end up with what you dont want!
