Expecting a standard romantic comedy, I found this movie to be very poignant and touching. Both Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant turn in excellent performances with a well written script that touches on the problems with paparazzi and our need to conform to the expectations of others.

One of the standouts of the rom-com genre. The performances definitely elevate the material. Rhys Ifans and Emma Chambers nearly steal the movie from the leads. The video quality is a bit average for Blu-Ray, bit it's still the best presentation of the movie that you can buy.

This is one of my favorite romantic comedies ever. By far one of Julia's and Hugh's best films in this genre. Rhys Ifans, the guy who plays Hugh's roommate in the movie is worth the price of admission alone. Every scene he's in he steals. Highly recommended.

This is a rare movie that is a Romantic Comedy that both men and women will enjoy. It's a little sappy but more than makes up for it will solid comedy and quality acting by the two leads. Rhys Ifans steals the film as Hugh Grants roommate with some hilarious scenes that would be at home in a screwball comedy but never feel forced or out of place.

This is an old movie and I've seen it on broadcast TV quite a few times now. Still, when the DVD was on sale, grabbed it for ease of watching. One of the best romantic comedies around, from a slightly different era I guess.

A favourite of mine from the Julia Roberts heyday at the box office is now on blu ray and just as funny as it was back then, with a great picture and sound transfer it is an actual step above the dvd release I used to own, definetly worth a buy and especially if on sale like when I purchased it for less than $6

Everyone's fantasy...to have an actor or actress you love. show up on your doorstep one day, and to have him/her fall in love with you. Julia Roberts shines, Hugh Grants is perfect. As perfect a Rom-Com, as you'd ever want to see

This is a great love story ,you can buy this one for your wife or girl friend it has great stars and is a fun and interesting film guys can watch also .and at 5.99 it's a steal . Try it you will like it.

I first saw this movie back in the early 00s. Since then, I have owned Notting Hill in various formats. On blu-ray, you still get the same old movie with a clearer presentation. I am happy with my purchase and the movie.

It certainly feels dated not too far in, but this is still a great romantic comedy. Like other movies that come from a Richard Curtis script, it finds ways to put some depressing elements into a seemingly upbeat script. Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant are perfectly charming and well cast here.

I just love this movie. It is the type of film that you will watch over and over to get that sweet satisfaction of seeing two characters end up together. Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts are fantastic.

I will admit that I'm a sucker for romantic comedies, and Notting Hill is one of my favorite movies in this genre. I have probably seen this movie a hundred times, but I was quite impressed with the Blu Ray picture quality. I wish there were more extra features though.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie in the theater & had to add it to my collection. I've watched it multiple times already. Notting Hill is great entertainment. Kudos to Julia Roberts & Hugh Grant!

One of my very favorite romantic comedies! Great cast, enchanting story and hilarious British humor. The soundtrack is also excellent, I bought the cd after watching the movie.

I recommend buying and watching this movie at home on a large flat screen tv if you enjoy seeing a well written and well acted movie with Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant.

Hugh Grant is always fun. Julia Roberts is well, Julia Roberts. She's pretty much 1 dimensional. It just so happens here 1 dimension is always fun. Worth $5 for sure.

An oldie but a goodie for any blu ray collection. Julia Robert's is amazing in this old school film. Her and Grant have a great chemistry.

Seen this tens of time and still laugh with all the character in the movies. Grant's roommate is so wierdly funny. Like the acting of the handicapped lady couple.
