I'm a writer, and I bought this product hoping to improve my speed. Perhaps it's a learning curve, but I think this slows me down a little. I have to remember to say "period" at the end of a sentence, followed by "new line" "tab," and "open quotes/close quotes." Even if I don't use the punctuation commands, I still have to edit it. This is fine, and not a huge deal for me. But, I got the wrong version. I decided to be cheap and get the Home version when I really should have gotten the Professional version. With the Home version, I have to dictate into the microphone while the program types directly into the computer. This is slow, and makes it difficult to turn off my inner editor. However, the Professional version allows dictation into a digital recorder which can then be uploaded into the program for conversion, which is a much faster way to get work done. Bottom line: I think it's a great product when you get the right version for your needs.

Pretty accurate, efficient and user friendly. Have to spend some time on accuracy calibration but after that works great.

Have only gone through the tutorial but this software seems to work perfectly. Love the microphone and the ability to ask the microphone to turn on and off. There are many more features which I am looking forward to learning about.

I have had DNS 13. What I like about it is, I don't have to use the head mic. I can use the mic on the computer. It makes it much easier than having to reset the head mike while you are talking

I was not sure about trying such a product, But I am disabled and needed help with typing. It worked well in WORD.

I wish I would have bought this years ago! Makes life so much easier!

I bought Dragon Naturally Speaking for dictation. I now use this for everything on my computer, from writing emails to navigating the web. Excellent program for any user.

This program is what I had been looking for to get for my wife who is a newly published author. She is still learning to use the program to its maximum capabilities.

For the price of the program, you will think that the headset that is included would work. However, that was not the case for me. I had to go out and buy a different headset in order to use this program. The programs takes some getting use to. I am still learning how it works.

Dragon is helping me to do my private practice smooothly and effectiantly!

I've only used this product a few times since I installed it but every time I LOVE IT!

Using Dragon saves a lot of time as one is talking and not typing

I have used dragon products professionally and for home use in the past. I recently retired and needed a voice dictation program for my small home business. This version (13) has really improved over the previous products I have used and that is saying a lot, because the others were great. Very simple to setup and quickly get started..

Helps if you are a slow typist. However, still need to be careful when dealing with numbers

I'm sure it will work great when I update to Microsoft Word 2013. I have 2007 version now.

I've used Dragon in the past and it's been pretty good. With this version, I can say that it's *very* good. With almost no training, the recognition is excellent. I still have to remember to enunciate and I couldn't figure out how to tell it to spell a name a certain way, but otherwise, the software is excellent. The headset is cheap and has a short cord, but otherwise this was a great purchase.

Nobody does voice recognition better than Dragon. Other companies use Dragon and call it their own. Once it's been trained to your voice it's the best. I have been using it for years with little to no problems.
