We had pretty much the exact same model gifted to us for our wedding gift, and it was used probably 360 days out of 365. Every morning, we made fruit/veggie smoothies to start the day, and it was great. Fast forward, and a few years later after much much use, the blades still seem sharp but the attachment point where the tumblers lock onto the blender unit itself seemed to be loosening up or something. We couldn't see any definite gaps or issues, but it seemed off. So we replaced it with a new model. Still happy, still the same performance. Nothing negative at all about this blender. If anything, we use it more now because we've added +1 to our household.

Blades stay sharp through multiple blending of ice. It crushes ice very well and makes great frozen “slushies” It’s built well. Suction cup on the bottom to keep it in place. Cons: It’s loud

I have used other blenders that is similar in operation. It had a slower motor then this but not by much. I have been using this to make smoothies with frozen fruit and this makes it a breeze to make. It come with two cups and the blades and covers for the cups as well. The cups seems sturdy enough to last a while. Otherwise this looks like it will do great as a personal blender

Exactly what I wanted and needed

I had previously been using a full Ninja system when all I really needed was something this small and powerful to make my morning shake/smoothy. This blends everything I want it to blend but the only thing that would have made this better is if the cups/containers would have been glass instead of plastic. No matter what, over time, plastic turns yellow and since its more porous than glass, it looks dirtier quicker. Other than that, if you're looking for a professional grade blender/mixer for your shakes and smoothies, look no further.

I have used this blender for the last four years. It’s been great. The only downside is the noise. It’s quite loud, but it does get the job done. Looking to replace with maybe a new model.

Sleek design, above average loudness (think commerical grade blenders at Jamba) and efficient blender is what I'll describe the Nutri Ninja. Having a all in one add, blend and ready to go 18 and 24 oz up is a nice feature too. I, now, have to make it a routine to prep my smoothies ahead of time to simply insert and blend. Thanks.

    Terribly underpowered, and lacking quality...

I was expecting more from a Ninja brand blender. What is most striking is how terribly underpowered it is. I make smoothies just about daily. Frozen strawberries and other fruits, and pretty much anything else that would typically go in a smoothie. Most times this will yield a very laborious process with the blender barely being able to blend the ingredients without issue.

Leak | Metal shavings | Loud

It worked great at first. Then about 6 months in it became very noisy and started leaking something black every time I used it. I noticed metal shavings at the bottom of my juice glass from this blender. This should not happen. It is a potential health hazard.

    Unable to unscrew after blending

Constantly getting brutally stuck after blending. I cannot unscrew the part that blends from the part that you put the food in. It is always getting stuck
