I use the neutabullet for only these things. I use Vitamix several times a day everyday for constant smoothies and soups. The Neutabullet is not able to withstand several times a day every day for long. If a person only uses neutrabullet once a day it may last a little while.

I don't always have time for breakfast or get all my fruits and vegetables in. This allows for both. My only complaint is that it is difficult to clean the blades.

Mixing home-made crêpe or pancake batter is a pain and often ends up with lumps. We use our Bullet to blend the batter and it works like a charm. The diameter of the 2 cups is a bit wide for my smaller hand grip. Make sure to tighten the lid or you will get spillage while blending.
