Customers often highlight the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X Graphics Card's impressive performance, especially for high-resolution gaming, and its effective cooling system. Many appreciate the high frame rates and excellent ray tracing capabilities, although some users mention the card's substantial size and weight. The price point is frequently cited as a significant drawback. While build quality is generally praised, some users experienced coil whine.

Works great, as expected. Runs cool. Games are silky smooth. You need a modern, high wattage, power supply with at least 3 PCIE 8-pin power cables to use this card.

Expensive, huge, beautiful, and very nice cooling, and of course, very strong performance. I do not regret the purchase, just wish it would've been cheaper. Gaming on 4K tv on high-ultra settings with DLSS3 at full 120FPS is a magical experience.

I had a rtx 3090 extreme from Gigabyte and I get 20-25 fps more on the rtx 4080 at 4K. Also this card run cooler than the 3090. Very happy with my new card.

Really impressive card. I can easily run 1440p165hz on any game with ease and it stays quiet. Was easy to install and have had no issues. Recommend it.

Despite the price I got this. I was actually waiting for the Noctua version but it's almost the same price as the 4090!
Comes in a dedicated and sealed shipping box. No way it could be tampered with without that seal being broken. That box was shipped direct from the factory to a ware house then shipped to a BestBuy store that you pickup from. In that box will be a heavy duty and pristine 4080 box.
I went with the 4080 because I also do a lot of AI work and needed the 16GB of VRAM.
My 4080 fans don't even go on when playing Overwatch 2 at 1440p at max settings. Ambient temp is 22C and card is at 41C. Core i7-10700 System with 2 27" 1440p monitors pull 250watts per my UPS when on Overwatch 2 at max settings. Then again I set my 4 case fans at max when gaming. If the ambient temp is low enough I can keep the fans at low.
My pictures show it with a EZDIY-FAB 12VHPWR 12+4 Pin Angle Connector Power Adapter (the reverse version) and it hovers over the heatsinks and gives good clearance.
RE: GPU sag
Since the FE is a shorter card than 3 fan cards I didn't notice any noticeable sag but I put a cheap bracket and support just in case. Who couldn't use a little support?

As someone who has purchased lots of other branded Nvidia graphics cards, the FE ( Founders Edition) Cards has always been a fan favorite and for just reasons. It is usually the highest of quality in terms of materials used to make it, and the reference cards themselves are always the most reliable. Cooling is great in an open-air case. In an enclosed, with sufficient and an adequate amount of fans, will run cool even on high graphic setting AAA games! Always a top recommendation!

Flight Simmers Dream!

Great card for my use case of running Microsoft Flight Sim at 1440p with frame generation. This feature alone makes a 4000 series card worth it as MSFS is CPU limited most times and FG makes the game much smoother and flights are more immersive. In other games you can run ultra/max settings in 1440p no issues. Even at 4k it’s fine for most titles. Yes the card cost too much. But if you have a use case, then it’s justified enough to purchase.

3080 is $799 and this is $1199 so a little bit pricey. But it is a very good card from build quality to performance. Recommended if you willing to spend extra few bucks

Went for the upgrade from a 3070. Definitely an improvement in frame rate. I can run everything 3440x1440 (I have a widescreen monitor) with no issues. Warzone and MW2 I get 130-190 frame rates with some tweaking the settings in the game but still 2k gameplay. Running on a Intel 10700 with 32g ram.
Microsoft Flight Sim also maxed, no stuttering.
Is it worth the money? All depends on what your willing to pay for the best of quality and frame rates.
It's big so make sure you have the room. I have a full tower case.
See pix.
Corsair 750w power supply works fine. No issues.

4080 is the way to go this generation in my opinion. 4090 is overkill and overpriced and its really just for the flex. The 4070 isnt impressive enough compared to the 3090. The 4080 is the perfect sweet spot this generation for the 40-series cards. The Founders Edition is always the move as they look the best. Very clean and very classic look. Performance is extremely impressive.

Love this card. I went from not being able to use ray tracing at 4K with my 3080 12GB to playing cyberpunk on high in 4K ray tracing psycho 60FPS.

Card provides maximum performance on 1440p gaming. I utilize 3x 1440p monitors for sim racing, and the center monitor for all other games. Most games with my previous 3080, I could average 100 FPS on Ultra settings (GTA V, Far Cry 6, as example) I am now able to fully utilize 144 HZ on my monitors with the 4080
HOWEVER, this was only a good deal with the provided 10% off coupon using my Best Buy Card. Without that, I would be sticking with my 3080
