RTX 5080 is a really powerful and fast graphics card. It makes games look amazing, definitely a great buy.

I was lucky enough to snag this on launch day for msrp. I know there is alot of contriversy with this card not being a big leap over its last series. But my question i had was is it worth it coming from and EVGA FTW3 3080 10GB to this.
Let me tell you it absolutly is. I was getting low frame rates and random crashing in even Diablo 4. Now that ive upgraded to this i get 70-120 frames in 4k max settings and ray tracing with no frame gen.
There is also apparently a pretty large headroom for overclocking this card to be on par with the RTX 4090. I didnt go that crazy with it but i did use the Nvidia app to scan and do an auto OC. Its given me several more frames on average.
Overall absolutly happy with this purchase.

I was looking everywhere to get the 5090 for MSRP. It felt impossible. However, when I was able to get my hands on the 5080FE I wasred no time. And it hasn’t disappointed me in the slightest. I’ve had the card for a month or so now and the performance is incredible. I’ve been able to run games at their best settings, something that my 3070Ti was always failing to do. I couldn’t be happier with the 5080FE. Although, I still feel like the prices for these graphics cards are very saturated

This is the absolute best 5080 to get variation wise. Paired with a 7800x3d, this gpu running all my games at 4k at high/ultra settings. Of course its not gonna give the performance of the 5090, but half its price, it does an amazing job. 16gb of vram is good enough for most games at 4k currently, unsure about longevity wise.

Great card but produces a lot of heat for an ITX case. Handles all games well including Cyberpunk 2077. Hard to beat the MSRP given the alternatives. PNY is the better option at MSRP since the cooling is so much better. Since I have an ITX case, ASUS Prime has been the best option for SFF. Got tired of having a big case and wanted something easier to move, clean, etc. Simplify...

I was looking for a graphics card that can handle 4k 120 and this one handles it like a charm. I didn't think I'd use frame gen but it is actually an amazing feature.

Arguably the 5070 TI is a better value currently but from benchmarks, the 5080 could push some games I play to 60 fps at 4k without DLSS while the 5070 was stuck mid 50s. After messing around I ended up using DLSS anyway so I can hit 100+ fps but I like that I can get 60 before using frame gen.
Getting it MSRP through Best Buy was nice, did have the app never load when I tried purchasing it through my phone but the site worked instantly using a PC

I recently picked up the NVIDIA RTX 5080 Founders Edition from Best Buy, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The build quality is premium, the thermals are fantastic, and the card runs whisper-quiet even under heavy load. Performance is on another level—whether it’s gaming, video editing, or running advanced workloads, everything is buttery smooth with huge FPS gains compared to previous generations.

Went from a 2070 Super to this 5080, and the performance update is amazing. Doubled frame rates on games I play regularly and ones I went back to and re-experienced. If you're coming from 30-series or older, this is very much worth the upgrade. Definitely try to get it at MSRP though, don't feed scalpers
