Too Hot for ITX Cases
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card but produces a lot of heat for an ITX case. Handles all games well including Cyberpunk 2077. Hard to beat the MSRP given the alternatives. PNY is the better option at MSRP since the cooling is so much better. Since I have an ITX case, ASUS Prime has been the best option for SFF. Got tired of having a big case and wanted something easier to move, clean, etc. Simplify...

love the 5080 FE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a graphics card that can handle 4k 120 and this one handles it like a charm. I didn't think I'd use frame gen but it is actually an amazing feature.

Can actually handle UE5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arguably the 5070 TI is a better value currently but from benchmarks, the 5080 could push some games I play to 60 fps at 4k without DLSS while the 5070 was stuck mid 50s. After messing around I ended up using DLSS anyway so I can hit 100+ fps but I like that I can get 60 before using frame gen. Getting it MSRP through Best Buy was nice, did have the app never load when I tried purchasing it through my phone but the site worked instantly using a PC

Absolute Beast - A Must-Have for 4K Gaming!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was lucky enough to get my hands on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition, and all I can say is, "Wow!" This card is an absolute monster that crushes every modern game I throw at it in 4K with settings maxed out. The sleek, dark gun metal design is a piece of industrial art and looks fantastic in my case with its compact two-slot size. It also runs surprisingly cool and quiet, with temperatures rarely exceeding 60-65°C under full load, which is a major plus.

Fantastic GPU, A+++
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the NVIDIA RTX 5080 Founders Edition from Best Buy, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The build quality is premium, the thermals are fantastic, and the card runs whisper-quiet even under heavy load. Performance is on another level—whether it’s gaming, video editing, or running advanced workloads, everything is buttery smooth with huge FPS gains compared to previous generations.

A Worthy Multi-Generational Uplift
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went from a 2070 Super to this 5080, and the performance update is amazing. Doubled frame rates on games I play regularly and ones I went back to and re-experienced. If you're coming from 30-series or older, this is very much worth the upgrade. Definitely try to get it at MSRP though, don't feed scalpers

Best "value" GPU in 2025

Beautiful beast
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Almost impossible to find these cards at msrp, but if you're lucky, this card is absolute beast! Next level in 4k gaming. The new DLSS 4 frame generation is fantastic and it'll get even better with driver updates. I know they had a rough start with some reported ROPs missing in small percentage of the cards, but I believe that NVIDIA fixed the issue, my card wasn't affected by that issue. The design is beautiful and well made.

Good luck finding one at MSRP
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you're able to get one without paying scalper prices, this card is a great option for those wanting to upgrade from a 30 series card. If you're coming from a 40 series card, it's not as big of a jump. Runs games at 4K max settings without any issue. The new frame generation in DLSS4 is incredible tech, regardless of how you feel about the discussion between rasterization and AI-driven frame generation. If you take the product for what it is, it's a capable 4K graphics card that is well built. If you take into account stock and price issues and generational uplift, that's a completely different story
