Its a 5090. I somehow managed to get it for 200 dollars off the 1999.00 msrp. Felt like I'd won the lottery. Temps are great havent heard any coil whine or anything like that. And so far my 12v connector has been fine. Fingers crossed that remains that way.

Amazing card!!! I hear a lot about people complaining about the cooling but to be honest, I had the gigabyte gaming oc 5090 and this gets slightly better performance. It’s also a fraction of the size which opens up other pcie slots which is nice because even running at pcie gen5x8 you’re only missing out on like 1-3% performance and can run other cards as needed.
And the stealth/minimalist look is fire.
10/10 happy with the purchase.

This thing performs absolutely amazing. I didnt expect much of a jump coming from a 4090 but it was more than expected. I 100 percent recommend the FE5090. When gaming on AAA titles im only seeing 60ish degrees and no hotter. I couldnt have asked for a better card.

Simply the best consumer GPU you can buy right now. Excellent for 4K ray traced titles at high framerates and even path traced titles. There a little bit of coil whine but nothing that a decent speaker setup won't overpower. Headphones make it a non issue entirely. The FE is a sleek 2 slot design with good thermal performance. I dislike the huge AIB designs so this was perfect. Get a anti sag bracket!

This great performing card will run anything thrown at it, and run it incredibly well. It's well built and has an aesthetically pleasing design. That's said, it's very expensive. It also runs hot and consumes a huge amout of power. Please remember to seat cables into both the psu and gpu properly. A basic undervolt can mitigate the heat and power draw, but not the cost.

Snagging an RTX 5090 on launch day was beyond a stroke of luck. Thanks to points, my out of pocket cost was under $1K, making it an absolute steal. Performance? Insane. 4K max settings? No sweat. DLSS 4.0 is legit, and the extra VRAM should keep it solid for years. That said, it’s total overkill unless you're really pushing high resolutions. If I paid full price, I’d have hesitated, but at what I paid? Zero regrets.

I got incredibly lucky to snag one. Coming from a 3080, whst a difference. I dribe 1 4k and 2 1440 monitors all at 120hz, zero issues. Rivals looks great maxed out. The power connector is a little concerning, otherwise incredible card even if it’s expensive. This is close to my AIB 3080 size, which is crazy. Hope eveyone gets a chance to buy one that can afford it.

Too fast for your CPU in games, but it's the best.

32GB of VRAM is great for productivity and rendering. The bump in performance is barely noticeable compared to a 5080 or 4090. There may be more performance that can be unlocked later through faster CPUs, but my 9950X3D isn't showing it.
The drivers seem solid enough. My 4090 had odd bugs, such as copyright protected streams, like Netflix, blacking out my display for a few seconds after opening and Windows 11 not having compatible generic drivers prior to installing Nvidia drivers (so I had to use my CPU's graphics on a fresh W11 install). I haven't noticed any bugs of note with the 5090.
For games, you're better off saving some money and getting a 5080 for "the best" FPS. The fastest CPUs right now can't really even keep up.
For productivity, it definitely shaves off a small amount of time from exports/renders and runs video or 3D previews a little bit faster. I would have liked this GPU to be faster considering the price, but at least the 32GB of VRAM helps with rendering projects that gave VRAM errors on a 4090.

This card is so nice and is the best available. Aesthetic is amazing, design is flawless especially for ITX builds. I really like how NVIDIA make it smaller.

The stock situation is unacceptable. However, going from a 4090 / i5 13600k build to a 5090 FE / 9800x3d build has led to a notable jump in performance. I feel very fortunate to have been able to snag one of these on launch day (highly recommend the Hotstock mobile app, it's free).
There are plenty of benchmark videos on YouTube for you to draw your own conclusions, so there's no sense regurgitating here info you already know.
What is special about the founder's edition other than its rarity is the overall design: it's much, much thinner than my Zotac 4090. Gaming at 4k with an aircooled system has been a breeze. I have yet to see GPU temps exceed 68°C in-game.
For a frame of reference for anyone else who upgraded from a similar platform, here are my 3D Mark scores (steel nomad bench, no overclocking):
4090 / i5 13600k: 9101
5090 / 9800x3d: 14117
Anyone able to grab this card at $2000 should consider themselves fortunate given the current GPU situation. I've found it to be a worthwhile upgrade, especially given the resale value of the 4090.

This card performs well, stays really cool, and has nice overhead for OC/UV. If you can get it I don't see a reason to overpay for a different card. This one looks the best and has the best form factor.
Value at 3 stars because honestly it's a $2,000 GPU, so you don't get this if you're chasing "value" - that would be the 5070TI at $750.

This card is fast, really fast. I dont seem to have the missing ROPS, and my card hasnt caught on fire as I bought a high end SeaSonic PSU to go with it. Memory junction temperatures do not go over 70 degrees Celsius, and the card stays lower than 65 degrees Celsius overall. Not bad for a 2 slot design.

I had been trying to get this card since launch day. I tried update scanners, Hotstock, and even randomly hitting F5 and hoping that "add to cart" would magically appear. As it turns out, randomly hitting F5 is how I ended up getting this card. It was pure luck and persistence that won in the end. It's a beautiful card and has a thinner profile than the giant bricks that the AIB's are selling. It's not Best Buy's fault that these are hard to get right now. I appreciate the online buying process and efforts to defeat bots. Now I just need to find a water block for this beast.

I have upgraded from the GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition to the GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition, and the transition has been seamless. I am particularly pleased with the card's compact form factor. The performance enhancement with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation in Cyberpunk 2077 is notable. Furthermore, I am relieved that my 5090 arrived free from any Render Output Unit (ROP) defects. Paired with a AMD 9800X3D CPU this card is a beast! Bestbuy did an incredible job with this transaction!
