Pay no attention to the “fake frames” crowd. This truly is the best GPU ever made. I play in 4K and it handles it with ease. Paired with 64G of DDR5 RAM and a 9800X3D makes my rig a monster. The only gripe i have is that it has some insane coil whine, especially when playing in 4K and with graphics turned up. But, you get used to it. SO lucky I was able to snag one when they first dropped.

The RTX 5090 Founders Edition is expensive, but it's absolutely worth it if you want the best. Performance is incredible - everything maxed out runs flawlessly without breaking a sweat. You're paying top dollar, but you're getting the top card on the market.

    Disappointing performance for the price

It’s about a 3x improvement at 4k coming from a 3080. With MFG on frame rates are higher and still look good, but for the extreme price raster performance should be much better over the 4090. We should be able to get near 60 fps in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4k on max ray tracing settings natively without DLSS or MFG on for this price. As it stands this card only gives you fps in the low 20s if you play this way… this really doesn’t justify spending $2000 imo. Bottom line is if you’ve got a 3070 series GPU or older it’s well worth the upgrade. If you’ve got a 3080 or better, just lower your settings a bit and use the Lossless Scaling program to make your own multi frame gen.

I just so happen to be one of the lucky ones getting this early. Can’t beat the MSRP price for this compared to the other models. I’m upgrading from a 4090 using 14900k & ddr5 on the Samsung Neo g8 4k 240hz. The main difference I saw was just less dips in frames for warzone. Other games, I still have yet to try out the ai frame generation. (Call of duty is not supported at the moment.) I love the size, didn’t have to upgrade my case at all, just plug and play.

DO NOT BUY IT IF ….

Don’t buy it only if you already have RTX 4090 ( about %30 more raw power in average). Don’t buy it if you think Frame generation is a magic ( don’t get me wrong. Actually it works but not same quality as real frame. Imagine the difference between native and upscale 4k resolution ). And of course don’t buy it if you’re looking for affordable price.

    Best Card I’ve Ever Owned

While drivers still leave a little bit to be desired, this is hands down the most powerful graphics card I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. It handles all of my video editing tasks perfectly, cutting down render times to a fraction of what they once were. On top of that, it’s an absolute beast for gaming. Haven’t had a single graphics option in any game that I’ve needed to turn down below epic settings even at 4K 120FPS with HDR turned on. There’s even some fun to be had with running local AI models, but I haven’t experimented with that too much to offer any technical details. If you can find this card anywhere near retail price it is well worth it.

The title is enough to know what youre getting. It is at the time of writing the strongest consumer grade gpu around and this is the only reliable model that sells at the listed msrp. the build quality is phenomenal, the card runs cool enough, and it is still quiet so long as your case isnt choking it of airflow.

Awesome performing graphics card if you are one of the lucky few to get one at MSRP. Even after 8+ months since its official release, they are still extremely hard to get thanks to AI and Scalpers. I ended up returning my ROG Astral after getting one of these and saved me over $1000.

Runs cool and quiet, 1000w psu seems enough to handle this paired with 9800x3d. If you have an older modular PSU, recommend getting a separate, more compact 12v wire.

Incredible PC component. Runs everything I throw at it - workloads, games, etc and all under 70C. The only downside is that there is literally no supply. It took me so long to find one and I definitely was not going to pay a scalper for one.

What is there to say? It's a 5090 so except for burning up and black screening and not supporting 32bit PhysX it's the best and most amazing GPU...... Also, it is overpriced and Nvidia doesn't care......this one was MSRP (thank you /best Buy for another launch day win) so I will keep it but this is a bad time to be a gamer. Would I recommend? No, I wouldn't I got this at MSRP and sold a 3090 and other things to make this reasonably affordable but in general I would not recommend this product.

Overkill for most gamesz but you are definitely future proofing yourself with the card. DLSS 4 games look great with very high frame rates, which while still not looking as good as native, are a step up from DLSS 3. If you want to play games in 4k and haven't upgraded for a while, I would definitely get this if you can at retail price. If you have a 4090 I would probably hold off.

After using this card for the past few months I can say that it’s a great card. I’ve used it exclusively for gaming and it handles everything you can throw at it. I have noticed a strong coil whine on some games but not all. Mostly on demanding ones. All in all I’m happy with the purchase.

Card is a beast. Extra vram is great especially for flight sim. It did cost a fortune though. -1 star for that and the unfortunate screen flickers that apparently many 50 series cards experience with g sync, which you’d think wouldnt be an issue for the insane amount it costs.

Moved from a 3080 to this, and couldnt have been happier. Runs most current titles 4k ultra at least 60fps without frame gen. With frame gen? You’ll definitely be in the 100s. To everyone that is still looking for one, keep your head up and be patient. Definitely worth the wait.
