I love my nvidia shields. I have 3 of them. These work way better than any firesticks. It's faster and decodes a lot more audio. A normal user may be fine with a firestick.

I had four of these throughout my home. Bought them (exclusively) because they had a nice clean interface. No ads, recommendations, suggestions and other marketing stuff like Amazon Fire Stick. Now the June 2021 update has undone all that. Have to see prominent ads all over my screen. I paid $150 each... and it didn't have forced ads when I bought it. Goodby Shield. There are better options with cleaner interfaces. If they want to force ads, these should be $50 each (like a Fire Stick) AND that shouldn't apply to people who purchased them before that change.

I purchased this for a guest bedroom TV because it is the same interface as our Sony TV. I like the easy of use of the android TV and the small form factor makes this easy to take it to another room if needed.

I really like my new Nvidia shield streaming device. I have the older one Everything is so fast. Much better than the firestick or firetv. Not sure about the design of the remote though. Doesn't lay flat

Its small and compact, I use this for streaming. It has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. It passes through my Nakachimi sound bar with no issues. Setup was really easy. Best streaming device, in my opinion. Has almost all streaming apps.

I love the Nvidia Shield streaming device ! It’s so much better than my fire stick ! It honestly makes the picture look like I have a new t.v ! Definitely happy with this purchase !

Excellent streaming device, but I have taken away 1 star for the useless NetFlix button on the remote. I don't watch or care for Netflix and this button should have been an assignable feature to any streaming app and not just netflix.

Got rid of all my firecrap stuff and went with the shield. I have never looked back. Faster, sleeker, easier, and more robust. Pricier than others but you get what you pay for. Well worth the investment.

Nividia Shield is the best streaming box you can buy. Running the android tv software makes the shield perform very smoothly. I have the Apple 4K steaming box and prefer the Nividia Shield. The Shield also converts 1080/720p to 4K.

Overall like it a lot. It's snappy and has a good interface (standard android TV). The Netflix button is incredibly annoying though. As far as I can tell you need to buy an app to disable it. This would be so easy for Nvidia to fix. Please do it!

This is the best streaming device on the planet forget the fire tv and forget the apple tv and pick up this device today. Also a word of advise any apps can be installed with an apk transferred to a microsd think filelinkedin enjoy :)

Definitely the best 2020 streaming device you can buy. The AI upscaling is amazing. I didn't give 5 stars because the AI upscaler doesn't seem to work on my Samsung Qled TVs, works perfectly on my Vizio Qled though. The Shield is fast and

This tv streaming media is fast and the AI Picture upscale processing makes any picture quality look amazing especially watching Netflix, Disney + and more, would definitely purchase another one of these bad boys soon

The best android streaming device available. And I’ve tried most.

I like the AI upscaling to higher definition on older shows. It works pretty well. I have both a Fire cube TV and this and find I prefer running same streaming services on this one.

At first I loved this device, I considered it equal to my Apple TV. After a couple weeks of use, however, I have become undecided. The TV will randomly turn on by itself and I can’t figure out as to why. It will also randomly playing after pause. Sometimes after a couple seconds and other times a couple minutes. It has a good selection of apps, excellent picture quality, and the integration with Alexa is convenient. Currently I feel the drawbacks of the device turning on/playing randomly are making me wish I had returned the device before my time ran out.

I bought a firestick and i wasn't pleased. Someone at work recommended Nvidia Shield and i haven't looked at another streaming device ever since. Extremely happy with my purchase.

It is all about the AI upscaling for me. All of my content looks better than without it. I may have been happier with the bigger model but it would have been overkill for my needs.
