Best media box on the market....only problem is it doesn't like to stay paired with the box ...with that said you can use your tv remote to control everything...so thats why i gave it a 4 and not a 5 .....box is perfect for kodi this is my second nvidia shield....seems the new remote is more sturdy but like the simplicity of OG remote

I have had 4 different "brands" of streaming boxes by far this one has been the fastest , clearest pictures and honestly i have had it a for weeks and feel i have a long way to learn to use it to it's full capacity.

I have been hooked on the Nvidia Shield for over two years. I enjoy retro gaming and streaming. This me Shield is good at both. I have an Apple TV 64 GB. Since I stated using the Shield. I have never used the Apple TV since. For $199 you will not find a better streamer/gaming setup.

I have been looking at the Nvidia Shield for a looooong time and finally decided to buy it as a birthday present for myself. I have several streaming devices in my house from Roku, Google, AirTV, and Xfinity. The main things that attracted me to the Shield are Dolby Atmos support in Netflix, built in Chromecast, and the AI upscaling. All of my favorite apps work - Pandora, Hoopla, Peacock, YouTube TV, and Disney +. I am still figuring out the various features but am not sold on the upscaling as it seems to over sharpen most of the source material. Time will tell if my opinion grows stronger but I like most of what I've seen from this device.

Look no further this is the best Android box out there, so much so that I have 2 for my TV's. The down side is the price, but it's worth every penny. IPTV streams flawlessly no lag, super fast

A must have addition to any gamers TV! The built in steam link function is a god send when you want to olay your desktop or laptops games in another room, or on a TV in the same room without an HDMI cable strung across the room. The latency is very manageable with good WiFi. As far as normal streaming goes, it is an extremely fast device and loads all 4K content very quickly. The interface is minimalist and organized compared to the competitors thanks to having google TV. The built in GPU is great for light gaming and mobile gaming.

I love my Nvidia Shield TV Pro ~ In the past I've purchased the Fire Stick , Fire TV Cube and MIBOX but the best out of all of them was the Nvidia Shield TV Pro ~ Take my advice if you don't have the money right now save and be happy of the purchase instead of regretting the decision 2 or 3 months down the line of one of the other purchases

Ill be honest this is my second sheild as i wanted one for my living room and bedroom i have had my first one going on 5 year's now and still love it no smart tv can't even come close to what the sheild can do im using my first one in bedroom now to control my media storage like a NAS home network works flawlessly

This is great for gaming ect ect, just highly recommend you buy an eternal usb stick or something that can hold memory on it. Too much downloading makes it crash completely.

This is my 3rd shield tv device. Thjs is hands-down the best performing media streaming device 2nd to none. My last one died after 3 years of use, and served its purpose well. I like that it has 4k capability and a ethernet port for a hardwired connection, as well, as 2 usb connection on the back. Its small size and allows you to install this with double sided 3M take to the back of your wall mounted tv, or in any audio cabinet or closet. I like that these van be controlled with logitech harmony remote. This shield tv is a must have for cord cutters.

I like manycut cableba few years ago. I mainly used firesticks but had issues with buffering and loosing internet connection. At the end of 2019 i purchased this device for my main tv and has been beyond pleased with its performance and quality. I thought of the long term investment and ditched the firestick for my 2nd tv and made this purchase in Dec 2020. Im glad i did and would highly recommend anyone that cut cable or simply looking for a streaming device to go with this quality device over a cheap product.

I hardly write reviews, but for this thing I had to Nvidia Shield Pro is 100% the best Android tv box ever made I love it a lot. I’ve had Apple TV, I’ve had fire stick & so many different Android boxes this exceeds all of them. Speed is great, 4K movies, tv shows, live tv, the game graphics are basically as good as a PS4. Honestly the best.

I know this system is slightly dated, but somehow still up to date. Have had it for about a week and simply, amazing. Extremely fast when switching between apps, amazing sound and picture quality. Sporting a 5.1 surround set up via receiver. However, I do have a sincere gripe; for being Android/Google based, for some strange reason it actually lacks apps. My older Roku died, which this replaced, has more apps, in fact Roku has ALL my streaming apps where the Google store doesn't. Google really needs to address this issue, and what I mean is this: I can download apps from my cell which exist in the Roku environment, but don't exist in the Google/Android TV app store. What's up with that? So as amazing as the Shield is, I'll literally lose channel's/programming via lack of streaming apps. Lastly, the homepage literally looks like that of a Firestick, which I personally is too busy and kinda sloppy. You do have a little more control in personalizing the Shield, though. Again, if Google Tv has your apps, you seriously need to consider the Shield, a sit os so smooth and seamless. I may just keepnit as a back-up.

Nvidia shield is a great media player. It works very well. It can stream up to 4k hdr content and is able to run games. The most interesting thing is that the shield can run a plex media server and that it has AI upscaling which means that it can low resolution content more sharper.
