OEM is always the best way to go. This remote is no different. I tried non-OEM remotes and they're just not the same. Best Buy has the best price around, too!

Great remote works great. Able to connect to the nvidia shield no problems.

While not perfect, this remote is MUCH better than the one that comes with the Shield. The Netflix button is way too easy to push and it takes some getting used to the shape. The battery cover is also annoying to take off, but it does have good battery life. Overall, a good replacement for the awful stock remote.

sturdy,sleek design. Bought as a replacement to the original that came with the nvidia streaming device. Needs to be paired, and system rebooted in order to get to optimal usage.

Don't over-research questionable alternatives. This updated Nvidia Shield remote is OEM and works with the 2017 Pro Model. It also is able to control the volume of your TV and or soundbar in addition to the power through CEC. In other words, one remote is all you need now to control everything.

Mich better than old nvidia shield remote. My old flat remote finally died and this one connected easily to my old nvidia shield. Volume control so much better than the old touch/slide control.

Much better remote than the smaller one that came with the older model shield. It has better ergonomics and the designated volume buttons are a good change. One thing I wish they would do is incorporate a headphone jack into the remote like the controllers do.

Replaced an older Shield remote with the touch slider that couldn't control the TV. This works way better, i accidentally hit buttons less, is easier to find - recommend if you have an other Shield TV with the flat remote.

Use mine daily. This is the perfect remote. Although I wish they would remove/disable the Netflix button.

Excellent product if you are not used to a controller. Do not recommend using this if you're a gamer since many functions are not present here. Bought it because my shield controller gave out (it was an update if you ask me, but...) Nonetheless it's very easy and simple to use, i we'll recommended!

Great remote! Definitely a great purchase. I have the original Nvidia Shield and it came with the older style of remote. I like this remote for many reasons. When compared to the old remote, this is better because it 1) Lights up when it's picked up, so you can see it better at night (brightness is adjustable( 2) Isn't paper thin, so it won't fall between the couch cushions and get lost easily 3) Has a built in speaker, if you download the Nvidia Shield app and pair it with your Shield, you can click a button that says 'Find my Remote' and it will make this remote start beeping for 30 seconds 4) Has physical buttons for everything, the previous Shield Remote model I had did many of the same things this remote did, but they required gestures, swipes, and special motions/ button combinations, It was very complicated and cumbersome to learn (good luck explaining to any guests how to use it). This is much simpler and works just better. Everything just has a button like a normal remote.

Works perfectly with my 2017 Nvidia Shield TV. Way better than the original remote. My only wish is I wish it had a number pad so that I can enter passcodes easily.

I bought this remote to replace the original, I'm really happy with my purchase, I like that it doesn't fall out of you're hand. And it has separate volume buttons, plus it lights up when you pick it up. I highly recommend buying it if you need a replacement.

Great Nvidia Shield TV Replacement Remote. Our original ShieldTV remote was starting to have issues. Picked up this new model and it works perfectly. We were even able to remap the Netflix button to launch different applications instead.

Excellent, sleek remote. Very responsive and superior to Shield 2017 remote. Works great with older Shield models. Love that the backlight exists and can be dimmed as well. Shortcut buttons that are customizable are very handy
