Have had a couple of Bose including the tempo and shockz road. These ones are truly my favourite for fit and audio. I don’t really use the camera so can’t comment on it too much but the few pics I take have been good although if you wear a hat then the brim will be seen at the top of all pictures.

The glasses do what they are supposed to do in regard to Garmin integration and video output. My only complaint is that the interior notification light does not work as advertised. That light is supposed to shine red whenever you ride outside of the interval parameters you've sent during a Garmin workout. The light, unfortunately, does not do what it is supposed to do.
Like I said, the glasses work as advertised, other than my one complaint.

I wnjoyed the unboxing exproence. There was quite a lot to unpack when i recieveed my package. The lenses are great, used it for flight training. Since its non polarized, I was able to use my ipad without the screen disappearing. Additionally, I enjoyed the different video settings on the glasses. Sometimes the 3k resolution is too crispy, the video wuslity starts to get buggy. Sound quality is surprisingly pretty good but don’t put it on full volume because it distorts the sound quality. The battery life is a bame chnager. That extra hour actually makes a difference.

These glasses are a must-have for active lifestyles! The camera quality is sharp and crystal clear. The 3k mode really showcases what I am seeing in great detail. The voice commands are ok, but I used the button more often. The open-ear audio is perfect for music and calls without blocking outside sounds.
Battery life is solid, and the fast-charging case is super convenient. At my last Spartan Race, the glasses lasted for about 4 hours. Not ideal for really long runs; my race was about 14 miles and took me 6.5 hrs to complete, but if I had the case with me, I could have charged them up between the obstacle challenges (which was the main reason for recording during this race). However, I didn't bring it because it was too bulky for my water vest. One thing I learned you can save on battery usage is to keep the glasses disconnected from your phone and disabling voice commands. However, disconnecting from your phone means that the glasses cannot offload the photos and videos, so the internal storage may fill up fast if you are recording in 3k for a max of 3 mins each time.
Also, while taking a photo to see what my experience would look like while wearing my hat, the front brim of the hat covered some of the photo. I decided to wear my hat backwards so as not to get it in the shot. Great fit for running, OCR, cycling, and hiking. Worth every penny!
Pros:
Excellent photo and video quality
Comfortable, secure fit for sports
Clear open-ear audio for music and calls
Fast-charging case with long battery life
Hands-free voice commands
Cons:
No expandable storage/SD card slot
No landscape photo mode
Cannot wear a hat with these glasses, or you will see the brim in the video/photo.
Bulky charging case
Low-light performance could improve
I would recommend this to a friend

I’ve been using the Meta Oakley Vanguard glasses almost strictly for cycling, and for that purpose they have been great. They are IP67 rated, so they are dust and water resistant, and they held up fine during a rain storm on my last ride. On my typical four hour rides the battery makes it through with mixed use. I shoot short ten second videos, take a few photos, and turn music on and off during the ride. They have not died on me yet.
For cycling they hit a sweet spot. The camera is steady enough for quick clips, the controls are simple while moving, and they save me from fumbling with a phone. I really don’t use them for anything else though. Walking around town or driving with them feels unnecessary, so they mostly stay in my riding kit.
I’m hoping Oakley eventually releases a transition lens option. Living in the Northeast means a long stretch of gray days, and a lens that adapts would make them more useful off the bike. They are advertised as good for snowboarding, but they are not goggles, so I’m not sure how they would feel in real winter conditions.
Overall, I like them a lot and would recommend them for anyone who wants a hands free way to capture rides. For cycling, they make sense. For everyday use, it depends on your style.

I’ve been really happy with the Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses so far. The design is sleek, comfortable, and feels exactly like what you’d expect from Oakley—lightweight, secure, and great for everyday use and workouts. The built-in tech works smoothly and adds a lot of convenience without feeling intrusive.
That said, I can really see these getting even better over time. As the AI continues to learn and improve—especially with more running-specific data like pace, form, distance, and performance insights—I think these glasses are going to be next level for runners. The foundation is definitely there, and future updates have a lot of potential.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with them now, and excited to see how much better they become as the AI evolves. Solid purchase and a glimpse into the future of smart fitness gear.

Purchase these glasses for a trip to Mexico associated with work. Lynn’s quality is typical Oakley very good. No complaints there. Video and picture quality both are very good for a camera this small, integration for WhatsApp is flawless I am able to receive notifications of incoming messages through other messaging services however cannot reply to iMessage or signal
Sound quality is far better than I expected for my glasses base system. Having the ability to communicate, take photos, etc. hands-free as a welcome change.

Feel great on your head, easy to use and easy to see. I have a pair of these and a pair of the meta raybans and these are way better for riding your bike or doing anything athletic.

I have had the glasses for a month now and i absolutely love them...i wear them almost everyday and i take quite a few pictures and videos with them...i also listen to music on them, i love that you can set up spotify on the tap on the side of the glasses feature and it will automatically start playing spotify and if you tap it again it will stop the music..you dont have to pull out your phone and you can do it all by tap or voice! The only thing i would say is that I wish the battery lasted longer but with the minimum amount of space in the glasses and the technology its as good as it can be I believe!

Can't record and play music at the same time. Other than that its great. Recording is good and Its nice not having to reach for your phone during a run. Hopefully they will update so its possible to record & play music at the same time.
