fun game worth the purchase Absolutely love Octopath Traveler II. One of the best modern JRPGs of all time. This game is a love letter to fans of the classic JRPG genre. Octopath Traveler I is a masterpiece and Square Enix greatly improved upon it in the sequel.

If you liked the first one you'll love this. Does everything better.

Amazing game. I love the 2D sprite art, mysic, battle system, characters, etc. Feels like a SNES era Squaresoft game.

Octopath Traveler 2 continues the tradition of a love language to JRPGs by Square Enix. The combat is tight and the world is a breath of fresh air to explore. Each of the stories feels consequential. Do you like job systems? They are here and actually matter to making great characters. Do you like awesome music? The soundtrack is absolutely incredible and contains absolute bangers.

If you didnt like the first game, id recommend trying the sequel! Almost every grivance from story, characters, and to some, music, has been addressed. Honestly one of the standouts of the year so far. Only complaint that i have is that side quests are still hilariously vague. Aside from that, well worth your time.

Having already enjoyed the first game, flaws and all, I was impressed how the second one not only exceeded expectations, but has become one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

Great classics jrpg. The game could be structured a little better but a little grinding can get you leveled to where you need to be.

This game is marvelous. GREAT storytelling. The playing style is nostalgic to the first turn based RPGs. Overall a MUST PLAY for any player that likes Square Enix games and loves Classic RPGs.

This game surpasses the original in just about every way. The only thing I would say is to not expect a completely immersive story with all of the characters. Similar to the first game, each story is kind of its own thing. I'm personally fine with that, but I know that was a somewhat common complaint of the first game. If you get around that, you will love this. It's like a loveletter to oldschool JRPGs.

When Octopath Traveler II was announced I was extremely excited! Having played the first Octopath Traveler, I knew I was in for a beautiful treat and my expectations were set high. This second installment greatly improved on story, character interactions, and battles. This game is perfect for fans of the previous game. It's also excellent for those who haven't played the previous game because the stories in both games are completely seperate. This game is a must buy!

The first game came out and sold like hotcakes, but had a lot of criticisms against it. This game took a hard look at all of them and made a sequel that is superior in every possible way. With 2023 being so stacked and the conversation around the first game eventually trending negative I am concerned that this will be the most overlooked game in 2023. This game is an absolute gem and well worth the money.
