Definitely worth the cost. This headset takes you to a whole new world. The setup was easy and short. It was on sale at the time of purchase. The next day was even cheaper so I went back to the store for a price adjustment. Best Buy has the best Customer Service.

if you're on the fence about vr then im here to tell you, get it! its a great deal at $399 and the touch controllers are so much better than vives wands. order a third sensor and you are set!

Totally changes games and other experiences. Instead of just playing a game you are there. Oculus is a must have now with the price drop on the bundle (and a few great games free) if you are interested at all in crazy new immersive experiences.

I needed to buy a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM to meet the requirements for this but I'm glad I did. My video card is still the bare minimum but I'm having fun with this so far. There is a lot of free software available so you can get used to VR without spending a lot upfront on games. The headset is pretty comfortable even when playing for an hour or more. You do need a fair amount of space to get the most out of this. I have a very small play area but I'm still having fun. If you get motion sickness easy then be careful. This is a solidly built piece of equipment. For the price I'd say it's a very good deal especially with the free games that come with it. If you've been on the fence about VR, this won't disappoint.

First let me say i have used google cardboard and the newer daydream viewer. Because of this I was a bit skeptical but after demoing it I had to buy it. This was one of the best purchases I have made in a long time! It is so immersive and very easy to pick up. There is virtually NO latency, maybe the same you may see between your keystrokes and the monitor (we are talking milliseconds). Overall i love everything about it and so does my wife and friends. Just make sure you have the graphics to support it. I run it on an i7-7700 and a GTX 1070 and everything is flawless. Bonus: It comes with a bunch of free FULL games that you could have expected to pay $20-$50 for.

Got this during Black Friday Sale. Also added the third sensor required for full 360. I had been researching Oculus Rift vs. HTC Vive for a couple of weeks. I was sort of leaning toward Vive but with the Black Friday sale of $350 that tipped the scales to Oculus. In fact I bought 2 so we can play multiplayer. This is the first generation of serious VR headsets. Forget the cheesy cell phone, e.g., Google Cardboard stuff, this is on an entirely different level. Hopefully with pricing coming down VR will finally explode! I pretty much grew tired of traditional gaming because quite frankly it has become old and repetitive for my tastes. VR however has rekindled the gamer in me. This is awesome stuff and has a bright future ahead in my opinion. It will be interesting what the next generation of VR will bring to the table! Highly recommended!

I'm a heavy gamer and this was surprisingly good for the price. I think HTC vive still has its strong points, but honestly, you won't be doing VR a lot, and if you get a HTC vive you'll start regretting it. This is good overall for gaming, videos, and other...activities

The VR setup includes all things needed for VR setup for room scale basic. Will need another sensor for room scale VR. Very easy to setup but you must go to oculus rift and test your system before purchase (there is a downloaded tester). Need 3 USB 3.1 ports and HDMI and a separate video port. Good graphics card a must Unbelievable VR experience. Plenty of free demo content with great educational (anatomy), and gaming software (Elite Dangerous- Space game, and others). I say intro because by now a multitude of headsets are hitting the market. For a 350$ price tag it’s still top notch compared to phone vr. The rift has its design flaws but right now every headset has its great positives and negatives. The is by far the funnest way to game or watch any kind of 3d or movie content. The rift controllers feel great in your hand and very natural compared to the htc model. The lenses aren’t the greatest compared to others as well but this is the most bang you get for your buck!

I have had limited experience with VR, but more than the average consumer. I first bought the PlayStation VR back when it launched and I remember being incredibly impressed, but the tracking issues really bummed me out after a while and it eventually got shelved. I then tried phone VR which is really lacking as it doesn't track your position and its really more for watching movies and other media. I finally got a decent enough computer that could run VR at its best settings and after doing some research came to the conclusion that the difference between the Rift and the HTC Vive were minor at best unless you counted the initial setup. The major difference was price, I picked this up on sale for 320, which if you know is only half of the price of the Vive. What you get is a headset that is equal to or greater than the Vives, plus the much superiour Touch Controllers. Trust me, once you use these you won't be able to go back to the vives again. You also have access to all the same games that the Vive offers, plus even more games because the Rift has its own store with some exclusive games that you can not find on the Steam page like Lone Echo. So to recap, for half the price you get 1)Headset of equal quality to the standard Vive, 2) Better Controllers, 3) Access to more games. It really is a no-brainer. In conclusion, you should get the Oculus Rift if youre thinking about entering PCVR, right now is the perfect time to jump in.

After setting up, which was very easy, our family has had the best time with the Rift. Amazing graphics. Highly recommend if you have pc with components to use.

This is the best vr headset on the market. The amount of content available through oculus store is unparalleled with any other vr product. Make sure you have a great computer to run it and you will not be disappointed. I have a 7060hq i7 with 16 gigs of ram and a gtx 1070. This works well with all the games so far. I will eventually upgraded to a gtx 1080 ti to be able to max out the pixel density on all the games. Anyone who says vr is nothing special need to try it out with a good computer no joke it is scary how real vr worlds can be.

I bought the Oculus Rift + Touch Virtual Reality Headset Bundle, and it was a great deal for the price. I looked into the HTC Vive, but it was $100 dollars more. You can't even get the HTC Vive at Best Buy anymore. I bought it because my friends and I are planning on doing some VR gaming. It was very easy to setup and the VR experience is amazing. The touch controllers are so much better than the larger controllers for the HTC Vive.

I've been eying these VR rigs for a while. Finally they offered the rift and controllers together at a discount. I am extremely pleased with the system. It's easy to configure and there's plenty of cheap content to get. I enjoyed the games that came with this bundle as well. Ready to go in a short amount of time. I run this on an MSI gaming laptop with 16gb of RAM, i7 processor and an Nvidia 1060 GTX with 3 GB RAM and I haven't had any issues yet with performance. I will be recommending this to a friend.

If you are getting into virtual reality usage make this one your first stop to consider. It is rather comfortable for a headset and the controls are rather intuitive so it feels natural to use the controllers. Its extremely user friendly and walks you step by step in easy to understand terms on how to set it all up. I have had no problems with my Oculus in the time I've owned it and their library of games to purchase just keeps getting bigger, so there's plenty to choose from to play.

So happy with my vr! I had just got a new computer and i decided to get the oculus rift to go with it, and I am happy i did! Its so amazing what this thing can do. We have come so far in technology. I wanted to get the htc vive but this one was a better Price and can pretty much do the same thing. It may have fewer games than the vive but you can also go to stream for games. I play it at least a hour every other day. Buy it! You won't regret it!

Touch controllers are amazing, headset isn't all that comfortable but the tracking is great for the most part, even with the 2 sensors provided
