When playing some games like sword fighting with two sensors the arms not facing sensors would hang like if there were broken. Now when playing chess I don't have to shake the chess piece to get the sensor to pick up.!

Without purchasing a third sensor for the Oculus Rift you get a limited feel of what VR is. To be truly emmersed I suggust picking up an extra sensor for this reasonable price!

I purchased this due to having issues with Arizona Sunshine and other shooters while facing away from the two front sensors. This has helped immensely - which has also increased immersion. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the USB cable length. I think most people are purchasing this as a 3rd sensor to be placed at the back of their play space, and the included extension cable is too short for my smaller room.

The sensors may seem a little steep at $60, but the functionality you get from having three is definitely worth the price. It's pretty easy to setup and all you really need is about 8'x8' of totally free space; it doesn't take as much space to get full room tracking as many people think.

Bought a 3rd sensor, and then this 4th sensor, and it works flawlessly. I have zero jitters or signal loss to the sensors regardless of which direction I'm facing. For 4 sensors, cross them Left-High to Right-Low & Left-Low to Right-High to get complete sensor coverage.

    Roomscale required

The Rift does okay without a third sensor, but most games requiring roomscale will have you bending over and moving around. 2 sensors are not going to capture that in the same smoothness that 3 sensors will. Do yourself a favor, and get another sensor.

I've had a much better time with a 3-sensor setup than a 2-sensor but I am still having issues tracking on my far right side. I think if you mount your sensors high and have them point downwards toward your play area, you'll get flawless roomscale tracking.

Using only two sensors for VR was sometimes creating glitches in the VR experience. We added a third one, and now the system is able to see my son wherever he is playing! Much smoother gaming experience!

This was used as a third sensor to add additional mobility for the Oculus Rift. Worked like a charm- plug and play. You may need a USB extender depending on where you place the sensor.

Purchased to make it easy to play 360 degree games where the 2 front sensors were having trouble seeing me when I was turned around. This works great. Comes with a nice long extension cable so you can put it across the room.
