Contacts data base from old to new went really rough. Some contacts disappeared, some won't come up by a single letter? Not happy with the way Geek Squad tried to restore my contacts.

Not happy with the loss of all contacts in old office, this is NOT good as there were 4yrs of accumulated contacts info that will have to be rebuilt one at a time. the transfer should have taken this into consideration in upgrading.

nice package of software, but limitations for sync

Nice package of software applications; easy to install; but I am disappointed Microsoft did provide an easy way to synchronize tasks, calendar, and contacts between my desktop, laptop, and smart phone. Blackberry OS at least offers a program to sync between different platforms.

Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneNote work great on my HP Spectre. Love the OneDrive storage provided with subscription. Works well with my iPhone except for Outlook calendar and contacts. You will find many posts online about issues between Outlook and iPhone, and there aren't good, clear support answers to make them work together. Geek Squad to take over my Spectre for a couple of hours to even get initially set up with my iPhone. Also, having to go out and buy an app to manually load my contacts from my iPhone isn't an acceptable answer. Having to do everything in iCalendar isn't a good answer either.

I HAVE USED THE MS OFFICE FOR A LONG TIME AND HAVE UPGRADED AS FAR AS THE 2007 VERSION. A RECENT HARD DRIVE CRASH WIPED OUT MY CONTACTS, ETC AND THE 365 HAS SOME CHANGES THAT SLOW MY PROGRESS AND I HAVE NOT HAD TIME TO TRAIN MYSELF. I'M SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTED AS A RESULT.

But not great either. Miss that does not have connectivity to Plaxo so that I can share my work Outlook files--calendar, contacts, notes. But that is probably Plaxo's fault. I use the One Drive Cloud all the time.

365 looks pretty much like Office 2013

I was happy with Office 2013 but when my computer crashed I had to replace the Office software and since mine had been an upgrade it couldn't be transferred to the new computer. I would rather have just purchased a cd than pay a yearly fee for 365 but the cd available don't have all the features that previous cd versions had. With the crash I had moved my OL calendar and contacts to icloud and can't get them to copy to OL now. Since I don't know of another better product I will recommend 365 but if another becomes available I would recommend it instead.

Don't go cheap if you need Outlook

I should have known that by taking out the cost Microsoft would cheapen the product. The Outlook on 365 is not the typical Outlook you may be use to working with. Contacts are a pain in the A to deal with. In fact there is NO contact tab at all. Spend the extra bucks and get the real Outlook.

I'm not sure where to stand on this. On the positive side, all the programs I've used work fine - or do with Microsoft support. On the negative I'm undecided on the subscription basis. Through my purchase at Best Buy I was supposed to get Geek Squad support. It lost all my Outlook contacts, and Microsoft chat restored them and gave me another month on my subscription ... only to get notice from Best Buy that because I "purchased" the extension from "someone else," my Geek Squad support was cancelled. So which is better ... Microsoft or Geek Squad?

    Outlook is a hassle

It MS Office. You're probably using a version already, so it's about the same. My annoyance is that Outlook wouldn't import my old calendars or contacts correctly. I had to set up a new calendar to show up on the start page. Luckily, iCloud had the data so I just had to drag and drop into the new calendar. Weighing if it's worth re-entering contacts or just use the iCloud one loaded in. Sending emails is a pain without a contact list for a while.
