    I got this for my sons computer and it worked the first couple of times but now he receives an error when trying to use it. There is suppose to be some type of setting I need to change to fix it but I haven't had the time to mess with it yet.

    Error when downloading . I called service number they docent help me totally they say that I have pay 150 $ for this service. to bad service.

    I purchased this software simultaneously with a new laptop; it was lost in the delivery process; the claim was resolved rapidly; it installed easily; but, even though I have been able to use Office, every time I open one of the programs it indicates an error; it lets me keep on working after entering OK. I haven't been able to go near a Geek Squad with the laptop to have them sort out the problem.

    I'm tried to install this one my laptop but couldn't because it showed an "error" due to my laptop having a 64 or 32 bit and so on.....it don't know what to do after that because it really don't know much about computer language. Need help

    This is my first time using a subscription-based MS office suite. Although it did take a while to download, everything seems to work fine. Didn't get any errors during the download process.

    Has caused screen errors on my laptop

    half of the time when I boot up my laptop, the screen lighting is stuck on the dimmest setting. I can hardly read anything it is so dark. Geeksquad advised to reboot and hold down the brightness+ key while booting up. This usually works but I cannot change or adjust the setting.

    Tried to install on my S4 tablet. Unable to finish installation due to an error. Took tablet to Geek Squad, they could not help me. I just wasted $70.00.

      You should be able to use Office 365 on your tablet as long as it is running any of the last 4 major versions of Android and has an ARM-based or Intel x86 processor. If your tablet meets these requirements, you can try troubleshooting your issue using our diagnostics tool: https://diagnostics.office.com/#/

    I have used Microsoft products for over 20 years, and have never had so much trouble with a program. I attempted to install the program and it ran into an error. The Geek Squad got the program to install, and I downloaded my email into Outlook. The next time I turned the computer on the Office 365 needed to be installed again, but would not install

    When installing Office from the download site and entering the product code an error 'code invalid or card has not been activated' was received. Two calls to Best Buy support - first call said they activated the card; second call was no help either - still no Office on the laptop. Now I have to schlep the laptop and Office product card to a Best Buy store to see if they can remedy the situation. If not, the Office product AND new laptop that I purchased from Best Buy get returned. So since nothing is installed I cannot recommend nor not recommend the product. Not happy :- @@@@@@@@

    Cust srv rep tried to sell $400 fix for load error

    It gave an error and phone number when I tried to load it. I called and some guy with an Indian accent told me I had a serious virus called koobface that was in my router and pcs and that it probably came from using Facebook. He could fix it for $400 over the phone or I could take it in, but it would cost $600. When I declined, he hung up on me. I did virus scans on everything and found no viruses. I then tried to install again and it installed without incident.

    I purchased office 365 personal last month and it was easy to install. Just typing the code from the front of the card You receive. I honestly did a mistake in the installation process and retyping the code more than one time caused an error in downloading the software on my computer. Don't do my mistake, just inter the number given to you once and you're all set to a whole new world of easy work on the computer. The service member agent had been trying to reach me via email to help me with the instructions to finish the installation to the program. But I have been busy and haven't had the time to sit down to respond to the them to finish it. And that what really is nice about the whole thing. They are determined to make each one of us have a peace of mind knowing they are there to assist us with our computer work just because we purchased their product.

    I don't get usable installs without a disk

    Unable to use Word and Excel. Receive this error message: Microsoft Excel or Word has stopped working. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. NO REPLY WAS EVER RECEIVED. The Internet shows a number of people have run into this problem. Have tried the Internet solutions, can't get any to work. Other programs work correctly.

    Let me preface this by saying, I like Office, I use it constantly at work and at home. That being said, do NOT buy this version if you intend to use the pre-loaded Office Home 1-month trial that comes on most new computers. When the month ran out and I tried to install this version I kept getting errors. 2 calls and nearly 2 hours on the phone with Microsoft tech support and the best suggestion they could offer was that I should pay to upgrade to Home, because that would work. I didn't want the version. Why should I pay for the use with 5 computers, 5 tablets, and 5 phones when I only need Office for 1 of each? I finally got someone on the phone who managed to fix the issue, but it was a giant pain and I'm not too happy with how long it took to fix. I've recommended Microsoft products to a lot of people over the years, but I'm going to have to re-think that in the future.

    I purchased this for my parents. It was on sale so the price was right. The issue I didn't like was when I went to activate it on the parents MAC. Microsoft doesn't support two factor authentication with Office 365 on the MAC. It didn't even give me a warning regarding this. IT just keep giving me an error message that wasn't helpful at all. I had to connect MS and the "solution" was to remove two factor authentication then I could activate. So basically good product at a good price, but bad setup when you have to lower your security settings on MS own product.

    DO NOT BUY - CANNOT BE USED AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME! I bought this item from BestBuy on the Cyber Monday sales (2018) and it was a good price. I bought it with a new HP laptop. I went to set this up using the Key provided by Best Buy and it did not work. Yes, I followed the instructions, and Yes, I made sure I entered all information correctly. Etc. The error offered another link to try and it also did not work. I went to Support and read through what I could find there. No answer helped. I went to Chat with MS. At first the person kept telling me to take it back to BestBuy. I asked if they could please confirm that the problem was with BestBuy not activating the Key before I took the time & effort to haul my purchases back in to stand in line there and go through it all again with them. They could not verify whether or not the Key had been activated - which is a failure in my opinion. In this day and age of electronic information. And, he said to take it back to Best Buy, again. THEN... he finally said that it was a "bug" that was known to exist with MSOffice being sold by Third Parties such as Best Buy, that the MS Engineers were aware, and that they were still figuring it all out. Ok, so problems happen....but MS what are you going to do about it, why wasn't this communicated to Best Buy & the Third Parties, and ... what about those of us who are consumers of said product? What are we supposed to do? We spend all the $ and time figuring it will work and are given erroneous advice like just take it back to Best Buy. I never did get an answer to that question from the MS Chat tech. He offered no solutions - not even to email me when they resolved the bug. And he cut off the Chat before I could ask. So - in the end, it wasn't very helpful. Don't know if I can even get a refund...or perhaps a discount with purchasing it online/not through Best Buy. So - save your $ and time. If you are going to purchase MS Office, order it online through MS; don't go through a Third Party supplier. Even if you don't have the specific problem I had, you may be stuck with them pointing fingers at each other if there is a problem.
