I was glad to get an update on Word and Excel but didn't read the back carefully enough to see that I wasn't getting Access. My bad.

When the employee tried to install the program she found that it could not be downloaded since my computer was not compatible. Since I cannot access my spreadsheets and Window 7 is no longer available I will need to purchase a new computer and have windows installed on it.

I love buying this ms office product. I don't have to keep renewing it. This product will let you have the ms office permanently. The only bad side is this product doesn't include Microsoft access

My mom is used to Word. For various reasons we got her an Apple MacIntosh desktop and it was difficult for her to access documents via Documents (she is 85). I added Word (and had to pay for Excel and PowerPoint even though I did not want them) to her Mac and found out that you have to access documents the exact same way you do in Documents. So - we are back where we started. Wasted my money.

I'm very upset. I ordered this online because I didn't want to go to the store. Someone didn't scan it into the computer so that I can access it. I did call the 800 number and after talking to 3 different people they decided I have to go to a store and have the product scanned. I'm not happy. I won't buy this online, again.

Got office h&s 2019 cuz I got a new computer and you can't transfer office software anymore. I had office 2013 on old computer, so to access that I had to get this. It does not play well with the old version. Many things can't open. Not happy about that. So, as I go along, I have to copy info ( letters and such) on a flash driveand then paste to new doc on new computer, then I have it. You would think Microsoft would let it migrate all, not so. I gave it 4 stars only because it has some cool options that 2013 didn't, but the migration and access only gets a three star.

I am a causal user of the MS Office products dating back several years. I've had limited previous experience with Word, Power Point and Excel both on MAC and Windows operating systems. First: Installation. After logging in to the MS account, it went fairly smoothly although it did take some time at my internet speed to download the program. Nevertheless, it was accomplished on one setting and it downloaded and worked. Second: It's a perpetual subscription, no annual fee or renewal costs although it lacks updates and new features offered on their subscription services. It also lacks Outlook, Publisher and Access applications and it limited to download on just one device. Hopefully MS will continue to offer this type of service for those who need only the "basic" or "essential" applications. Third: importing files from previous version was no problem and it went smoothly. Fourth: It contains the essentials: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. My experience with Word, Power Point, Excel was intuitive based on experience with prior versions. The spell check and grammar check functions work well. Summary: It was a welcome update to the previous versions, remained intuitive with new features for those who want to explore and build on the classic use.

It’s the standard to be judged by...

Microsoft office products have been around for almost as long as computers and they are the standard in business, school and many home businesses. They cater to the casual user with a home, all the way up to more complex software packages for business and enterprise systems. For this review, and as my choice I selected the student/home version. This version comes with the following programs: Word Excel PowerPoint Access These are what MS refers to as the "Classic Apps." I have to say, with my family this is what we needed on our home PC. I can use it for work as well, but that is only on a limited basis. The main reason I got this is because my wife is a college student. Typically all the students these days are using Google Docs, which to me is a limited and handicapped version of the MS products. Office is just better and it has way more options. The version we have is for one PC/MAC and that was all we needed. Prior to this, she had Office 365 which is great. You have access to all the products MS has, but over half of them she never used. The difference is you pay a month subscription for the software vice with this one you pay up front. Plus, I know this product is backwards compatible so any old documents will be able to open with this new software. After reading MS's website, and before installing the software, I learned you need to have Windows 10 on your computer, which is the current version on the market. It also needs 2-4 GB of RAM and 4 GB of space on you HDD/SSD. Consider that when you are looking at making the purchase, and make sure your computer can handle it. The one product I was not too familiar with was Access. I use it at work on an enterprise system, but it is for a specific task related to data input. After reading up on it, it is for just that. Entering information into a database for reporting, reference, review, etc. It is not something I typically use, nor does my wife for school. It works well the way we use it at work though and it makes the information searchable and it is user friendly. Installing the software is easy, but I had to remove an older sample version first. After doing that, you follow the directions, download the software after entering the key they provide you and its basically done. Simple and the directions get you there with ease. If you have kids in school or college, this is all you need. You can get other versions like I stated before. You can also get more user profiles so you can use it on more than one computer. But for us, this was perfect. I highly recommend it, it is the standard in which all other data entry and presentation software are judged.
