Weak Disney
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bland, flat low ebb-Disney with celebrity voices providing the main appeal. A very loose retelling of Dickens offers a vague premise. Forgettable. I'd had a laser disc version, twenty years ago, and remembered it with fondness, but it was merely some nostalgic pang, because it wasn't at all effective. Bette Midler is supposed to be one of the character voices, but there's no Midler personality audible.

Not a classic
