I just love this digital investment, it's perfect fir my business needs. Truly wish I had invested in this device sooner. Worth every single penny spent on it, including the micro sd card. Definitely would recommend this item

I have bought 8 of these for my company. Unfortunately, the hardware malfunctions after a couple years and they can’t be replaced. My only drawback of them. But not bad for the price.

I used my recorder this past weekend for the first time. The batteries died after just a few hours of use, but an overnight recharge had it rolling again.

This recorder is nice. I bought it for my husband. He feels the audio is too low. It would be better if you could hear the recording a lot louder.

kind of low tech but easy to use and works perfectly. I am not so great with electronics so i like the simplicity and ease of this instrument. This is my 2nd one and I would buy it again. Highly recommend if u need to record and don't want to worry about it.

I bought it just because it was the only model available at the store with VGA or voice recording activation, there are cheapest version as well.

The recorder seems well built and sturdy.The functions work well and are easy to use. My only complaint is the poor audio quality. It sounds like an like a scratchy record.

Love this product but for some reason it was not working great. so we decided to return it back to the store and we were not able to fine anything good.

Great little recorder with plenty of time on it. Wonderful for conferences when you are backing up your note taking.

This is a great compact recorder. I like the usb function and charging capability. The standard memory space is sufficient but allows for a miniSD to be used as well.

Convenient and easy to use...The one drawback is the relatively low playback sound, even with the volume on max.

Purchased this Olympus WS-853 digital voice recorder to use to record a weekly class I attend and results have been excellent. Set on Auto record mode seems to give best voice quality, no matter where the source is in the room.

I would have given it a 5 star rating but I am unable to connect the built-in USB connector to my computer tower, not enough room for it. Best for a laptop.

It's awesome how you can connect via usb and use your computer's speakers instead. Great product so far.

LOVE it but it won't accept my memory cards.... I put in a brand new memory card in it and it said it could not read the card. Very strange. But it works great and I really don't need the added memory so it's fine.

I decided to go back to school / college after the age of 40...and this was the extra Help I nneded...what I didn't catch in school during lecture this reliable recorder was...it was WELL WORTH THE Investment!

Got this for a friend. Girlfriend was plotting to feed him dog food disguised as chili. Good thing he had this. She's gone.

I'm generally pleased with this recorder, but it has some serious faults. The first, and most important in my view, is the display. It is difficult if not impossible to read except in the best of light conditions. Secondly, it has so many "features" that the learning curve is very long! Olympus has tried to put as many as they can on the limited screen and it becomes confusing.

I brought for myself to record my thought while driving and it has helped me remember them better.
