    I bought this in hopes of recording my classes but the battery only last end 4 hours total. I returned and bought 2 just in case it was a bad recorder then I found out it uses battery faster if you used the mini SD card to record on instead of the internal memory. I ended up getting an older model because the batteries lasted much longer and I could record on the mini SD card.

    The recording sensitivity is not very good. Putting it on a table to record voices is lacking in pickup strength, had a Sony prior to this at about the same price, had much better pickup sensititvity

    This is not for beginners..you would have had to know how to use before purchase. I went to the Internet and got the companies Manual to help use properly. It also pre-supposes that you had some experience on how to use. It has cost me a lot of time and anguish since my reason for buying it was to start dictating on a Book. I am still having a lot of difficulty Dictating and going to the correct Folder/File.
