Was looking for a recorder with better recording qualities than my IPhone 6. Walked into Bestbuy and looked at several models on display floor. After doing a quick search online for customer reviews I selected what I believed was best model available. I use this recording device for school lectures and have not been disappointed with its capabilities. Battery life is great and battery indicator is a life savior.

This is easy to use and high quality. Keeps me organized and no long lists everywhere.

It's small but is a big-time recorder. It is great that it plugs directly into my computer, so opening and moving files is the same as if they were on a USB stick. I bought a lapel mic so that I could keep the volume uniform while moving around, but it is a good recorder without an external mic.

I actually bought it for some elderly friends and there are no complaints.

Unfortunately it picked up all the ambient noise in a restaurant, but the output proved the device very sensitive.

this recorder is amazing, my girlfriend uses it for her college classes to help remember the lectures and she rants and raves on how great this little tool is.

I've used several Sony digital voice recorders over the years and they are excellent as well. This is my first Olympus voice recorder and I am very satisfied. I recommend you register this product at the Olympus web site as they have an excellent online store with a point-based rewards program as well. I also recommend you purchase the recharge cord and AC adapter for this model. This is a new unit from Olympus. The speaker is small so don't expect a loud playback through it but I found this to be the case with similarly sized Sony units. I am very satisfied with this product and with Best Buy.

I use this to record special talks from the podium at Symposiums and Conventions. This makes it easier to take notes from later. Great for College Students, This comes in handy when I fall asleep. I still can play back the recording. This has a good volume. Very easy to use and playback.

I purchased this recorder for Legal purposes. It has good features such as a pop up USB, different "scene options " ( Dictation, Conference, etc.) My biggest issue was the tiny size of the display screen which also does not illuminate. The buttons are tiny as well making using this cumbersome. The font is black and gray in color, adding to difficulties in easy operation of the features. Sound quality was okay. I would have bought a regular tape recorder if that was an option these days. Cheaper and easier to use.

It is a great item for your job for school for your work meetings I have rated 5-star and really recommend it two business people and students it's a great product. Even if there is a lot of noise on your surroundings it will pick up every word in a conversation I love it just great

I use this voice recorder for recording Bride & Groom's Vows at Ceremonies. It does a wonderful job of auto correcting the levels and eliminating noise. I also love the handy built in usb dongle for easy transfer to my laptop. It comes with a rechargeable battery, which I love. Everything about this is a home run!

I love the product and what it can do, and did very well. However, trying to read the provided instructions and work with the device was horrible. I finally pulled up the directions on the internet and was able to follow directions and go back and forth between the directions and device very easily.
