This is definitely a great value for the money. Amazing sharpness for portraits along with perfect bokeh for almost all shooting conditions. Beyond portraits you can use it for a walk around lens as it is tiny. My main driver is the 12-40 but when I don't feel like carrying much weight I take this gem with me everywhere. High quality materials and this will last a lifetime

Purchased the Olympus - M.Zuiko 45mm f/1.8 Portrait Lens for my BMPCC and have to say I am very happy with it. The lens is relatively fast at 1.8 and the 45mm lens on the BMPCC give me at 130 mm effective focal length. The build quality is excellent (the lens' housing and mount are metal).

Great Lens, Supreme Sharpness, excellent clarity. Does not come with lens hood, sold separately! One more thing, i assumed it was all silver But it's silver/blue??? Would of been a 5star rating if it came with hood plus all silver. Make the purchade, you won't be disappointed. Or maybe you will.

This is a fixed lens, meaning you cannot zoom in/out, but is fantastic for macro pictures, groups of people, and packs well.

I bought this for low light video and it works amazingly if you are distanced properly since it's a 45mm.

I keep this lens on my camera all the time . It has replaced all my other lens due to its sharpness and amazing bokeh. I have much more expensive lens that don't work half as good . Get this lens you won't regret it
