This camera has some great features. I really like the bright background mode. However it takes to much time to switch between modes and can not be done on the fly. also the lens does not have a cover...

So glad I bought this one. Takes amazing pictures!

Take over 200 pic a day drop daily and still works

I like the look of it and the ergonomics. I also like the fact that it does not have a mechanical cover over the lens like the last Olympus rugged camera. Should make it less prone to malfunction

Bought this camera for my trip to cancun and was amazed at how tough it was against the elements and the quality of the picture. The effects on it are really good too, used the dramatic tone alot as well as the underwater effect for taking selfies underwater. Great camera for a good price.

Camera performs flawlessly without need to be very wary of use during light rain or other less than favorable weather conditions.

This camera takes excellent pics under water. It's tough and durable....well recommended.

I use this camera everyday for work (inspections) and I can't say enough or give enough kudos to this item, it just keeps working! I love the quick on/off and the camera's exceptionally wide angle. Awesome! I inspect pools as well, so it takes a dive underwater pretty often as well! I recently dropped the camera about 8 feet onto a laminate wood floor, not a hickup, kept working! Having used a number of these cameras over the years, I'd offer that you NOT use the Auto setting indoors.. Choose SCN and then select indoors and you'll be happier, it will flash!!

Great camera for taking close pictures and selfies Would recommend this camera to my friends, it has great feature with video and taking action pictures.

Bought this camera for my parents for their cruise & they were able to use it with no problems they loved it. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone.

I'm extremely satisfied with this camera. I bought this camera for a trip to hawaii with my family and I took spectacular photos as well as videos. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star was the battery life. If you're taking pictures only, it'll last you all day but going into video mode drastically shortened the battery life.

Awesome water camera with lots of features. So glad they redid the door. Older models the door to the battery and hd card was not very secure. Looks like they took care of the issue.

When I got this camera I was not sure if I would like it but it is the best underwater camera I have. I recommend it to all of my friends.

We are impressed on how rugged this camera is. Our last waterproof camera was also an Olympus & we really got a lot of use out of it, but seemed more fragile than this one. We are hoping to get many years of use with our new camera.

Bought for my daughter who loves to take pictures but has a hard time not dropping things. Easy to use and has survived so far!

This was exaclty what i wanted for vacation in Hawaii. Works great in and under water. Awesome pics, better than phone camera

I've had the camera about a month and took it on vacation. The under water feature has worked great! I got some other great quality pictures aside from that as well

great for underwater, the zoom on this camera is really not that good.
