Used this camera on vacation taking underwater snorkeling pictures, indoor with and without flash, and outdoor pictures. I didn't do a deliberate drop test, but I did accidentally drop it on the metal deck of the boat from about 3 feet without issue. I used the WiFi feature and Olympus App to download photos to my phone and share with family back home. While not as convenient as snapping a picture on your phone and sharing, but the picture quality is much better than with many phones. Flash is bright and works well in low light without a flash. The display flips up so you can take selfie pictures using the shutter button on the front of the camera. The zoom goes from very wide angle to 5X zoom optical. You can turn on digital zoom, but why, you can zoom and crop later on your PC when editing photos.

So easy to use ,works great underwater. My favorite camera now.

Camera is a fabulous water-proof model that has a flip-around screen that one can see your selfee as you prepare to take pic. Light weight, hi-quality images. Very happy.

Bought this for our trip to Hawaii and it worked out great! Captured underwater snorkel shots, both during the day and at night. Didn't have any trouble with leaks, it's still going strong after two months. It's a little heavier than I like, and the auto focus light is blinding, even with the flash turned off. Otherwise, it works perfectly as a travel camera.

In my opinion, there is one significant design flaw. The camera battery and memory chip are behind a small door that needs to be latched as is standard on most cameras, and this works well on land. To keep them water tight, the door also must be locked, a second step. The battery cannot be charged without opening that door to access the charging plug. Closed but not locked after charging, the latch on my camera opened under water and ruined it all. A charging receptacle separate from that chamber would have spared the damage as the door would not have to be unlocked. A one step locking mechanism would have accomplished the same benefit. Otherwise the camera worked well. A greater zoom would have been utilized if it were available.

Took the camera on a trip to Hawaii. It was nice not to worry about dropping the camera or the frequent showers. Photo quality was great in bright light and good in lower light situations. The camera performed flawlessly underwater although it was a bit difficult to see what you were shooting in the view finder. Loved the flip LCD

Love this camera. Well worth the money. I bought it right before I went on vacation since I knew I was going to be doing a lot of adventurous activities. I also knew I would've been at the beach a lot and wanted to catch some great shots. This camera definitely delivered. It went in and out of the water with no problems. Takes great shots as well! Being able to take selfies is an absolute plus too. Most cameras this size, you don't have that option. But overall great camera. I would definitely recommend it!

This camera is amazing! A huge upgrade from my camera before. It was built for anything. It's been thrown around, soaked in rain, and put to the test and still runs just as well as it did on day 1! I use it for my youtube fitness vlog and it's the perfect camera. The selfie flip screen is where it is at! I highly recommend this product. I don't know how they'll outdo this camera in the future.

I purchased this for Boy Scout adventures where my iPhone isn't suitable. Takes decent pictures and I don't have to worry about the elements. My one complaint is that I seem to keep turning it on when it's in my pocket and running the battery down. So, when I need it, the battery is usually dead. I need to play with this more to see if I can find a fix.

This camera is easy to use and is shock and water proof to 50 feet. Takes great pictures under water.

I got this for my daughter for her diving trips so I could see what she was seeing. Shes used it twice and enjoyed it.

We bought camera for a Maui snorkeling vacation. Terrific still pictures and underwater video was beautiful! Only thing we were a little disappointed with was the carrying strap which came off easily, so we purchased a strap that would also float the camera in it happened to come off of wrist. Easy to operate, beautiful pictures above and below water!

I bought this when i went on a 5 week trip, the battery last pretty long, and it takes great pics. I recommend for outdoors people who just wanna record their journeys.

This was a great buy! I have not had any problems with the camera in water and use it on the river, in the rain, etc. I really like that the screen flips up so you can take selfie pictures. The only complaint I would have about the camera is that the screen is easily scratched. With regular use I had 2 small scratches on the screen within the first week. I am looking to put a plastic screen protector on the screen for the future. Overall I am definitely happy with the purchase.
