Amazing 4k and sport CAMCORDER!

I love the quality and size of this camera, is clean quality video compare to the Sony and GoPro action camera, I have owned Sony action cameras and love the size and model better than the Gopro style but both have let me down with the video quality. This one right here is the answer for that. Easy to use, affordable and hard built. I love the built-in light that come with it that's a major plus, the pictures are very basic, they feel very cell phone alike but once again this a camcorder not a photo camera. I recommend this for day in life type of filming, great on night club video and is great for trips.

The camera is SMALL and has great features that my brother is still discovering. A pro photographer is helping and thinks it is SUPER!

Overall the camera is excellent, I wore one on my head and one mounted the my ATV. Both have 64g cards and never ran out of space after 4 hours. We only used a battery and a half all day as well(for each). The video is great we actually shot everything at 2K and forgot about it and we all thought it still looked great. The stabilization is also amazing we noticed some very bumpy terrain and it still looked steady. Well worth the money and better than another camera you all no of. The GPS tracking is just another added bonus since we like being able to see where we rode.

This is a great camera if you're looking for a Go-Pro alternative. Being waterproof without additional casing is a big plus. One thing to be aware of is this camera has an extremely wide angle lens. It captures everything you would want it to but you pay for it with a larger fish-eye/barrel distortion. Doesn't matter much for action videos but it wouldn't be the best look for most if you're wanting to use this camera for all videos.

I was waiting for this action cam to come out. Just by chance, I got a discount coupon when it was finally available at BBY, so I bought it immediately. BLUF: if I had paid full price for it, I would have returned it. There’s too many quirky things about it. First, I thought the screen would be a value add, but it doesn't really work that well in practice. There's only two options for use: it's either on briefly (up to 10 secs) or on the whole time. So, if you go with option 1, a lot of times it turns off just when you need it. The only way to get it to turn back on is to start and stop recording. If you go with option 2, once you frame your shot or for whatever reason no longer need the screen, it stays on once you swivel it back into the resting position. That is the oddest thing. The easiest and best option would have been to have a setting where the screen turns on when deployed and off when put back in the resting position. Hopefully they’ll do that at some point with a firmware update. The LED light operates in the same manner, so the same comments apply. Also, they give you a cool looking pistol grip to use with the camera, but guess where the record button is? Is it on the back so that you thumb it on and off while using the pistol grip? No, it’s on the front tip of the camera! So not only do you have to use both hands to operate camera, you have to crane your wrist around when starting and stopping the camera otherwise your hand will be in all your footage. Finally, if you want your data log to be embedded within your pictures and videos, you have to use an app. That in and of itself isn’t bad, but there isn’t a desktop version of the app! Using my Edge 7 is fine, but I’d rather use my 17” dell. Now that the GoPro Hero 5 is available, I’d probably suggest getting that instead. Plus, it has voice control so you don’t have to fiddle with any buttons if you don’t want to.

From taking pictures to videos, this camera is excellent! I have photographed everything from on-the-go kids to still of nature. The quality is exactly what I was looking for and I enjoy being able to take it to the beach without having to worry about getting it wet. Tough enough to pass of to the kids for them to take pictures.

Olympus - Tg-tracker 4k one of the best handhelds so I've ever used. It has a solid feel the grip it comes with is one of the best I've ever used. Video quality is really sharp as well. Only one advice I do recommend is protect the lens cover on the front.. I've ordered an extra one from Olympus just in case. But that is all minor I really love this camera I have several handheld and this is by far my favorite so far.

Bought this for my 9 year old daughter who is not gentle with things. Video quality is pretty good and it’s not hard to use. Works great for sports practice and drills while not worrying about it getting wet.

Nice camera --good build quality but the app will not let you remote start video recording just taking still pictures only -- That is the only negative. The light on the camera is super bright.

I did not fully check this out before buying it. It is the perfect camera for its function. I wanted a more versatile camera. Very wide angle lens that is not adjustable. No real zoom. It is perfect for active sports like snorkeling, etc., but not for everyday use.

I bought this camera for my 9 year old son to use for summer activities and he loves it. He was so excited to capture the first day of snow in Houston. And I was happy the camera was working perfectly after being dropped in the snow. Looking forward to using in at the lake this summer!

This camera has great potential! I think if Olympus makes more improvements to complete with the go pro this camera would be awesome. I actually returned this and got the go pro 5 black but for those that don't want to spend the money, this is a great choice.
