Buyer beware! Not accurate at all!

I was very concerned with the numbers this was giving me so I took it in the clinic and it was so far off even the doctor was surprised! My mom recently bought a different OMRON and hers was off too. Doctor said they’ve been seeing this a lot lately with this brand. Beware!

Poor Company Support
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to start by stating that Best Buy accepted the return of this product with no hassle; it is OMRON that is lacking in support. First, I attempted to register the device on the URL provided on a slip in the OMRON 10 package. However, the URL referenced to register the product does not exist. Nevertheless, through Google, I did find a webpage to OMRON and registered with them (though no link to register my device). I then attempted to connect my iPhone to the device. Downloaded the software to my iPhone which required me to register again with OMRON (seemed to be a different reference than the earlier registration). However, the software would not connect the OMRON 10 device to the iPhone. I went back to the website but the OMRON 10 is not listed on that site as one of their products. It appears that this website is a European site. I searched through Google for a US reference and finally found one. My iPhone and iOS were listed as acceptable to connecting to the OMRON 10. I found the manual but it was of little use. I still could not get the OMRON 10 to link by Bluetooth to my iPhone. Anyway, after two hours of attempting to get this to work with my iPhone (my blood pressure getting higher and higher ;) ), I returned the device to Best Buy. They accepted the return of the OMRON 10 with no hassle. Needless to say, I doubt that I will ever try another OMRON product.

App doesn't sync

Tried all of the suggestions on the app to fix it but it rarely syncs my readings to the app. If I knew I had to manually enter all my readings I would have gotten a cheaper home BP monitor.

inaccurate systolic and diastolic readings

Using my own stethoscope the monitor does not detect the first heart beat resulting in false low systolic readings and does not detect the last heart beat resulting in false high diastolic readings.

Worked good while it worked

But we didn't know it was a open return the store put back on the shelf as working tell we got home and realized it was already opened.

Worked great for a week

Unfortunately, it only gave results for a week before it stopped working. I must have received a bad unit since so highly rated.

Don’t buy this.

Omron Blood Pressure Monitors are Garbage.

I previous had 2 wrist blood pressure monitors. Both stop working within a few months. I decided to pay more and invest in the Omron 10 Series - Wireless Upper Arm Blood Pressure monitor. I purchased it in Feb 2024. Since June 2024 I keep getting error codes E2 and E5. A total waste on money.

No Good

Difficult to connect and sync

Good Hardware, App is intrusive and needs work

This unit has a 2% specified accuracy, and the readings are much more consistent than the other machines I purchased. I particularly like the preformed cuff and side by side display of last two readings. The Bluetooth transmission of values works. BUT, you need two different devices, each with their own copy of the Omron app and two unique Omron accounts to track two users. You must have location services on, and they track a considerable amount of personal information. The app can email the information as an Excel spreadsheet, but the date is a general field that cannot be converted to a different format. Also, information is displayed newest to oldest. I end up adding columns for field number and date and then sort the data for my monthly tracking. But this is better than writing them on a sheet and transferring them by hand to a spreadsheet.
