You can hardly feel it working and it makes no noise when pumping up the pressure. This was a wonderful purchase and replaces a 10 year old Omron that was well used.

At my age I definitely want one at home as my husband travels with his. Also I had $50 of rewards as that was what I was saving it for.

Precise Accurate & Reliable for home BP monitoring

BP = 118/76 This is a suitable device - OMRON specializes in and has pioneered advanced tech BP med-devices since I can remember. I noticed that the precision of my BP readings got better (the range got narrow), esp when taking the measurement precisely as instructed in their Instructions For Use. In my opinion, my wrist's blood pressure readings were comparable to those taken via a BP monitor that cuffs my arm. Well, it IS an FDA-cleared device, so they knew what they were doing during clinical trials. Kudos.

Wrist monitors are accurate, but they must be positioned exactly at heart level and wrapped on the bare wrist, since even small changes in height or wrist position can affect readings as outlined in the instructions for wrist models. Be careful! There are defective ones..

It was giving very high readings and I went to my Doctor to test it out. This product was reading 153/111 but my real bp was 129/76… Make sure to test yours out to see if it’s defective or not! But while I had it, have the readings saved in the app was a nice feature. Also this was very quiet. Returning this without the box was easy and I put that this product was defective.

My blood pressure is uncontrolled, yet this device gave me the false security of reporting normal readings.
