With daily use, finally had to change batteries. On occasion reads error message, but I think its still one of the better choices out there.

At a subsequent doctor's visit we tested the unit against their readings and it was 30 points high. I contacted Onron and returned the unit for repair/replace. They returned ti indicating that they tested it and it was withing specs. However I still get the bad readings.

In fact, it should have been developed with a rechargeable battery and not using disposal batteries, which can become expensive.
