This version on Blu-ray is decent. It could probably look at bit cleaner in spots, but overall, it's incredibly solid for a $5 disc.

This is the Extended Directors cut of the original release that the studio had cut due to the length of the film. Highly recommended!

This original full length version is an epic poem of violence & greed now brought back to life! This is the only way this movie should be seen. The short hacked up “mutilated” version is a travesty! The film moves back & forth in a tapestry of episodes, which all fit together into an emotional whole. The short versions vision of all this is taken away and lost. And yes it’s a very long movie in it’s full length version but keeps you enthralled with it’s storyline/episodes that can only make sense in this full version format. Was so good to make a movie night out of this and see it again the way it was meant to be seen - minus the big screen of coarse. I myself love this movie ... it’s an epic masterpiece in my eyes in the lines of “The Godfather”.

Sergio Leone was a film master of gangster movies...this was exceptionally written and directed.

If you're a fan of The Godfather-type movies, check this one out. Cheap since its fairly old, and worth every penny.
