The software set up is everything. It's totally basic, but exactly what is needed. It had 3 macros (sequence of commands for a specific activity). The really expensive remotes have more. But I never used more than 3 activities (watch streaming device, watch a Blu-ray, play a video game...my 3 choices). After wasting probably a couple thousand dollars over the years, I can say without a doubt that I never really needed anything more than this one. And lastly, it's responsiveness is faster than any I've ever used. Absolutely no delay.

Made my wife happier with the remote situation in our house, the day we set it up. The app makes it so easy to use. The Activity button makes functions of multiple products easy to use.

GREAT Smart remote!

I did my research and this seemed to fit what I was looking for. I took the time to carefully follow instructions included but found several helpful set up videos on Youtube! The Smartphone App was a breeze! I've set up 2 of the 5 activity keys as well to save time! Very convenient. Love the remote!!! Planning to buy another for my lower level.

I will say...it does!!! This actually works amazing with our Xbox, TV and Soundbar. The JBL was hard to set up, but still works great! Just make sure your dog does not chew it up.

All i had to do was highlight the devices to be controlled on the new remote, point the remote at the device and voila! As easy as that!
