    I got a tv from a co-worker but the remote that came with it wouldn't turn on or off the tv so I purchased this universal remote and now I can properly use and enjoy the tv.

    This remote is beautifully designed and feels good in my hand. The remote did not program easily as it took numerous attempts to function. There is no illumination so forgot seeing it if you're watching a movie with the lights out. Customer service by phone (rare these days) is good and comes from the Netherlands. So their English is better than Americans, lol! The downside is you have to call in the morning or early afternoon if you're in the States due to the time different. This is still better than talking to a guy in India and hearing goats in the background. I still need to call CS as I can't seem to get the Activities to work and I'm no beginner to electronics. Good luck!

    I found it difficult to set up. Part of the problem is the instructions are on white paper with light gray print. I could hardly read this even with readers.

    It was good . We were struggling to find connect tv with remote but figured it out. You have to reread to understand how it work with tv and switch to cable on that remote.

    The remote functions properly, but I have two complaints: 1) It would be nice if the back of the remote was flat so you could press the buttons with one hand while it sat on a flat surface. 2) No back light for the buttons? Really?
