Too much work to combine remotes. First issue I have ever had. May be a great product, just not for me.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sorry to say this particular remote did not work with my Toshiba Smart TV and Vizio TV’s. My intent was to replace two remotes with this single remote. But it it didn’t work and I had to return it.

Outstanding for price

I first tried to harmony that was five times the price and was significantly more difficult to program and operate . While this doesn’t fully operate on my devices it does exceptionally well replacing my Samsung TV remote and operates fully my DIRECTV Genie . It is however only IR. It aLao operates my Apple TV by IR only. It is easy to operate and does have some programming ability and learning ability which is a great feature at a remote of this price . It is solidly built and I can’t see spending anymore money on those fancy Harmony remote’s and will stick with this as long as I can

Do not recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product today as it appeared set up would be easy. Not!! At least not as far as I got. The battery cover is ridiculously difficult to get off. I was finally successful, put in what I thought were fresh batteries. Nothing turned on. I am going to have sore hands tomorrow from all the times I tried to get that stupid cover off again, but nothing doing. Back to Best Buy. Two young guys there tried to get the cover off with no success. Finally one of them just pried it off from the bottom. We put what we knew to be fresh batteries in and still no power. At that point I returned it. So that’s a couple futile hours I won’t get back! Don’t take a chance on this thing - it’s a lemon. The only bright spot was how helpful Best Buy was, as always.
