Posted .We apologize, the first revision of the remote at Best Buy does not have the correct instructions at this time. i suggest
1. Hold down STB POWER (red power) and HOME (house) until the red LED blinks twice
2. Press the BACK key 5 times
3. The LED will blink green twice and the remote should now work your Roku TV.

Great remote for Roku/TLC tv's

Excellent remote control for a Roku device

It is comfortable as well as easy to use. It has backlighting, which is a big plus. Most importantly, it has a learning function that is simple to use. With this learning function, three devices (i.e. Roku streamer, projector, Dolby 5.1 receiver) can be programmed into the remote, which can then be controlled by pressing a single key. Highly recommended for Roku users.

Good for On/Off and Volume/Channels

The open box OLED TV didn’t come with the remote. BB employee said this would work. It’s did. However be aware that it only does basic functions (LG OLED B9) like on/off and channel/ volume. Settings and any navigational features was a no go. The remote is likely good for a non-smart tv.

I apologize if there was any confusion in regards to the remote. It is designed as a remote for streaming devices such as Roku or apple tv and is not meant to b a full tv remote. The tv functionality is a companion to its use with a streaming device.

I'm sorry to hear that our remote did not work for your use case. The streamer should control power volume and input on most tv's and fully control Roku tv's. Not for Google TV box
