    Remote is lacking maybe one or 2 buttons. That is the only complaint I have. Otherwise I would give five stars.

      Unfortunately this is correct the remote is not engineered to control the power for a sound bar only the volume. You would have to use a separate remote for power unless you learned it from the original remote.

    I bought this to replace my Roku remote on a Hisense 70” TV (that I also bought at Best Buy). This learned the other remote pretty fast, but aside from lighting up, it’s not much different than what I already had. I give it 3 stars for the lighting up part. The rest is meh.

    This was a great way for me to consolidate the remotes for a Roku and television into one. Bought another one to simplify my parents' setup. Before purchasing make sure you understand what all this is and is not capable of doing. I just needed this to be able to turn on and off a TV, change inputs, and function as a remote for the Roku.

    This remote would not operate my Samsung tv. But after reading the small print it says it will only guarantees to turn tv on and off. None of the menu features worked so had to order a Samsung remote.

    The concept is great but the execution for one of the most popular streaming devices (Apple TV) is sorely lacking. It doesn't always turn the device on, it has no way to turn the device off (you probably have to create a macro), won't power on a Vizio Sound Bar.

      I'm Sorry to hear it is not working completely for your use case. As I understand how the apple tv works there is no power off and on command and that means that no command is assigned to the button. The only way to program power for a sound bar would be to learn it from an original remote. if need help with that we would be more than happy to help here at support 855-716-2573 Monday to Friday: 10AM - 6.30 PM (EST)

    Preprogrammed for Samsung tv and roku streamer. No setup needed but very easy instructions should you need it for other devices.
