    Once connected to tv the remote hardly controlled anything, couldn’t bring up menu or anything. Basically power, channels and volume.

      Hello abaSPOOK

      This remote is meant to be used primary with streaming box's such as a roku. As such the only things on the tv that the remote will control is power volume and input.

    Have to say this is a sweet little remote, it just doesn’t react as the instructions say it would. I got tired of repeatedly trying to get it connected to my 7 series Samsung bedroom tv. It’s going back to BB

    Works OK with Apple tv which comes with a garbage remote. Can't perform all playback features. It does not work with newer LG OLED tvs without sending it in the manufacturer for programming, but that's not why I bought it.

      I apologize but it is correct the code we have for apple tv is based of the 0lder IR remote and does not include the newer more advanced functions but should work just fine. the streamer should control power volume and input on most tvs including LG tv's but if they have a new code then yes the remote would have to be sent in so that we can upgrade it.

    My daughter dropped our Apple TV 4K remote in a bowl of cereal and it was done. I didn’t want to drop $60 on a replacement for a remote that I didn’t like to begin with. I found this on sale and it has been a perfect replacement!

    I bought this replace/supplement my AppleTV remote. I'm not a fan of the 'touch' options the AppleTV remote has. This One for All remote has physical buttons, which I prefer. It also has backlit buttons so you can see what you're pressing in the dark. I would like it if the remote had a "Menu" button for the TV. Or an easier way to find it.
