    I purchased this for my Samsung Smart Tv, the box says that it should work without programming. The remote did not work even with programming. Ended up finding a much cheaper remote at walmart that worked as soon as I installed the batteries.

      I apologize for the confusion the remote is pre programmed for a Samsung tv and a Roku streaming box. the TV codes are limited to power volume and input the rest of the remote is reserved for the streaming device. This remote will not work as a full tv replacement remote for a Samsung tv.

    Got this remote to control my samsung tv would only control volume and power. Thinking I might have done something wrong I tired setting up on a few other devices and could not get it to work completely mainly good for volume and power in my opinion ended up getting a sevenhugs remote and love that remote.

      Automakanik, We apologize for the inconvenience. The streamer works fully with Roku TV's and TV's with connected Roku boxes. Samsung does not yet make a Roku TV. We are working on increased compatibility

    Tried all the combos could not get it to pair fully with tv. Some buttons work some dont.

    Only select settings and certain options does not select any shows movies etcetera once it comes off of the menu screen it doesn't work anymore

      Hello Patty

      Im sorry to hear you were not able to use the remote as you intended. Unfortunately the 2nd and 3rd gen Nvidia shields no longer have IR sensors built in so without that our remotes will not work without an add on like an usb IR sensor. The remote will work with 1st gen and we are working on a revision that will solve the issue but at this time the remote is IR only.
